Count Aleck

For some reason, a lot of new folks’ve showed up, so here’s a bit about me: I’m odd.

My pal Danielle Koenig shared that her father Walter Koenig passed away last night at age 90. A performer whose kindness and warmth shone through the screen. He will be well remembered.

RIP to this angel

this is what they mean when they say music is a universal language

Nina Simone, the High Priestess of Soul, was born on this day in 1933. She fought for the love of what is right and just, and they made every effort to steal that from her. But her artistry and spirit live on. Sadly, her message is needed just as much now as it was then.
