The wildest one of these I got was a three PDF "press release" rollout from someone who said his ChatGPT sometimes got something wrong and that OpenAI didn't respond to his support ticket and fashioned himself as a kind of big tech whistleblower

In the last few weeks i've been bombarded with emails from people who have minor tech support problems. ChatGPT is telling them to email me, writing their emails, and compiling "evidence packets" after convincing them they have stumbled on a major story: www.404media.co/chatgpt-keep...

404media.coChatGPT Keeps Telling People 404 Media Can Solve Their Tech Support ProblemsBecause big tech doesn't do customer service, we are being inundated with AI-generated emails begging us for help.

Literally everyone, every day: "Netflix is a cancer, everything they touch is trash, all they release is shit" Fanboys today: "WOW another major Xbox management failure, they can't even get their movies right, how can they pass on an incredible deal LOL"

The important thing that 100% of people are ignoring, for obvious reasons, is... "UPDATE: Xbox responds, and source familiar with the situation alleges Chiang was terminated for "policy violations"."

Obama mocking Trump, "He’s got the White House looking like Saddam Hussein opened up a Cheesecake Factory" My view: Trump sees grandeur as a statement of power. Obama made the whole thing sound ridiculous in one line.

A year later and probably 20,000 updates and Rocket League still hasn't resolved the "You are now online! Connect with friends!" bullshit notification that pops up every 10 seconds in split screen.

So now that script kiddie vibe coders are using AI to hack stuff easier and faster than ever, they're going to use it to prove that Donald J Trump is a pedophile, right?

It will finally answer the question we all have: What happens outside of a football arena?

EA Sports has announced that it is working on a new open-world football game that the company calls "Project Gridiron," which seems to be separate from Madden and College Football. https://bit.ly/4z63a9U

Valve have always had some form of prototype in the works forever. This means nothing for any impending announce or release.

Valve composer & sound designer Mike Morasky seemingly slips up & mentions "HLX" in a Q&A conference: "...Deadlock has its own version of HDR, HLX has its own" ▶️ vimeo.com/1234454770 HLX is the rumored codename for a new Half-Life game or Half-Life 3 according to dataminers

with sloppy (but convincing enough) AI vibeclones on the rise, developers now face a future in which a steady stream of pre-release videos, demos, and playtests—the only reliable way to promote and build community—could be their game’s undoing

I can't say I'm surprised about Bioware, not only because of their output over the last decade but also their new owners. Still sucks.

because it is relevant to my work, I have tried very hard to educate myself on how AI works, be fair and measured in how I evaluate it, and regularly test new tools to confirm or debunk my priors and tbh AI haters are just nailing it with less work like 99% of the time. keep at it folks

One widely loathed, ketamine-addicted, white-supremacist billionaire can single-handedly keep a failing political party afloat, through the brute force of money. Excellent system we've set up here.

Managing games and storage space is still clunky and unreliable on Series X... Highlighted a bunch of games, hit uninstall, confirmed... Endless spinner. Switch to my queue, nothing happening. Lovely.
