@nycsanitation.bsky.social I’d like to report a sweep

Being 33 and staying up until I can come in first on this Kirby Air Riders track despite having to be up for work in the AM is right about where I saw all this going. I like this path. And I am way more into this game than I thought I'd be.

This week's New Show Plus poll ended in a tie, so we were forced to combine the two show ideas: Can we pass a Canadian citizenship test WHILE Chillin By The Fire on Nintendo Switch 2? youtu.be/Fchp1p2MkwA Sorry, we mean Nintendo Switch Toonie.

Wrestling is weird man.

Notice how Super Mario and all his supposed “enemies” are happy to get together and go go-kart racing? Wake up. It’s all kayfabe

Thirty-three days ago, we released Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Since then, we’ve sold 3.3 million copies. Seriously. As of today. We couldn’t make that up. Another entry on the long list of surreal moments that your support has made real. Thank you ALL.

This is a freaking video game. Premise, story, gameplay, characters excuted so well it reminds you of the feeling you only get from this medium. Getting my ass kicked by bosses and wanting to immediately run it back, each fight more fun as the last as you get the timing down. Well done Sandfall.

Bring back proper games journalism.

Mario Kart World Rated M for Cannibalism.

@haleyfax.bsky.social How bad are the Switch 2 prices in CAD?

Pokémon Gale of Darkness coming to NSO before any of the early gens is hilarious.

With the Mario Kart Bundle + Pro Controller (because let's be serious) + Upgraded Storage ... that's well over $600 after taxes. Yeah, I can wait.

My most cynical Switch 2 take is that the phrase "built from the ground up" officially means nothing to me anymore. But otherwise, good show. System seems more powerful than expected. Kirby Air Riders was a nice surprise. GameCube games on NSO is nice. My wallet says I can wait though.

$90 for joy cons is crazy.

At almost 200 hours, I've played nearly as much Hades II Early Access as I've played the original in totality.

Up at 4am taking a work break and thinking about Tony Hawk. This isn't how I saw my 30s going, but what can you do?

165 hours later, Hades II continues to be the best thing I've played in both 2024 and 2025.

This video game would have sold better if it were a completely different game. I am very wise.

y'all ever see a take so bad you are forced to immediately go to sleep?

It's hard staying away from Hades II Early Access until the next major update drops. Hoping we're just one month away.

Two of the best video game sequels turn 25. Pokémon Gold & Silver.

Name is Matt Thomas. My username subtracts the vowels, it looks cleaner. Just the umpteenth person on here posting about video games, movies, anime and wrestling. I try to put people onto stuff I think is cool and I hope to start making cool stuff of my own in the near future.

And with the creation of Xinth, The Black Coat, Supergiant Games just added my favorite video game weapon ever to Hades II Early Access. A freaking exosuit that punches hard and shoots rockets.
