I basically had a robot with this face for a while it was one of the first I made and I'd rebuilt it a few times but I really wanted to give it some ✨sauce✨ idk if the pictures do her justice 😂 Anyhow some of her other names in Brickport are The Scarred One, The Thrice-Born, and The Wildforged.

The oldest of the knights of The Lady of Pain and one of the most powerful beings in Brickport, she was first changed by the wilds of The Fever Dream and then again when Malathrax the Coffin Spider took her left arm in battle. Unable to regenerate it, she conjoined the primal chaos to her own form.

Trying to come up with a working title for my LEGO based ttrpg system (ya boy is hyperfixated af but this is good work I swear) and I'm hitting a snag trying to satirize D&D

- Also like, maybe combat involves knocking your opponent's blocks off and outright death is sort of a different concept bc existing as toys is diegetic to the world? Which on one hand makes the violence more cartoonish but also gives it more implicit depth for GMs?

At any rate I'm always starting TTRPGs and leaving them unfinished so I wanna actually complete something 😂 and I may as well try to go where the ADHD takes me I mean it's gonna steer me around anyway at least this time we're on the same page.

I figure if I can hit a few key points I'll have something halfway decent: it's gotta be pretty easy and cheap to pick up and learn, low barrier of entry type jawn something you'd feel comfortable teaching your kid of like 7 up idk, and it's gotta let you build stuff and take it apart with mechanics

This guy came outta my attempt at making a suit of power armor. Jury's still out but I really like how this guy ended up. Lots of little robots and power armor builds out there but it's tricky to copy designs when you don't have a good library of special system bricks 😑

Got lucky and found a Wolfpack Beastmaster so I slapped some figs together to give him a little gang.

- and leave without buying anything and I'm like "u wot m8" couldn't be me I'll fistfight a scalper anyhow I check these 29s and no monster hunter (😭) but I check that one 27 and WHAM Wolfpack Beastmaster. This guy frickin rules honestly didn't think I'd ever have one but I'm glad I found him. -

- Like... It's a great fig but I thought I'd have to special order it to get it and I'm super happy I found one. I didn't plan on collecting Wolfpack Bandits but they are in my wheelhouse and I think they'll like it in Brickport there's lots of whimsical crimes to be done 😂

One of the real rotten bastards about growing up in a rural Southern family is that careers in art are basically mythological. People don't become actors or artists outside of movies and movies aren't real. Maybe in places like NYC or LA but those places may as well be mythological, too. -

- This man was working in a concrete oven throwing tires for eight hours a day in the height of summer, reliably. Now creative work uses different muscles and applies different stresses but hell if I can bust my ass doing something that pisses me off I ought to be able to bma doing something I like.

- So my mantra lately has been 'if I can make art like I change tires I'll be golden' and the thing is that I'm way better at making art than I am changing tires 😂 so I gotta work it out. Anybody that made this jump hit me with your hedge wisdom bc I am mfn adrift.

- But at the time! Fast forward sheesh two decades of largely impoverished meandering without much structure and support and wouldn't ya know it I haven't managed to even begin making money on my art which, I'm pretty confident in saying, is Worldbuilding. I can build a got dang world. -

- Shoot I can build a world like you'd believe innately. But how in the hell does a man get paid for something like that 😂 There's a lot to it but what I've been stuck on lately is that I ain't lazy. I can work. But I can't do it with creative work and I'm tryna bridge the gap. -

- When my 10th grade acting teacher told us that there were more people employed throughout the entertainment industry than something like lawyers, plumbers, and dentists combined I remember being a little mind-blown. Thinking of it now I mean obviously; there's a lot of different jobs 😂 -

Does it make sense to deport a man who overstayed a visa but otherwise has no criminal record when his deportation means shutting down a food pantry that serves meals to 7,000-8,000 needy people a month? Does choosing not to exercise discretion in his case make America greater?

Trying to wrap my head around a dingy coffee shop LEGO MOC based on a little community pillar from the old days and working through my memory to remember the layout is a fascinating exercise. There's things ya forget but they're often still locked in your memory.

I remembered this bionicle kit I used to have (boxor, 8556-1) that I haven't thought about in a while but I loved this one when I was a kid. They got a green bohrok at the local B&M I've had my eye on I may need to just pick that up 😂
