Nice way to kick off trading season.

After almost 20 years, I'm ending this run at Microsoft as I look ahead to something new. Grateful for so much that made it great, but most of all: the people.

yeah... there's crying in baseball. www.mlb.com/news/bryan-w...

Every time you check in on the guy he’s doing something simply incredible. What a time to be watching baseball.

For a little while, no one could get the game scoring going on Gamechanger, and I got to have a little bit of happy time watching the kiddo play ball and keeping score.

The NCAA and ESPN have such a remarkable product in the College World Series regional => super regional => World Series for softball and baseball and there is not nearly the promotion that the events deserve… this is electric sports television all day and night.

love seeing you work kid

Stanley Cup playoff sudden death overtime format is the most dramatic 10 seconds to 5 hours in professional sports. Never change it.

Love watching him put in the work!

Indoor season kicking off on the west coast at the Podium in Spokane cheering Grace and the rest of the Santa Clara Broncos on!

We experienced this yesterday. When blocked, it very politely stopped and beeped, and then graduated to a gentle siren prompting a confused “what’s going on oh it’s a robot wheelchair wanting me to get out of the way oh I should get out of it’s way oh isn’t that cool” reaction in 5 quick seconds.

RIP Rickey Henderson. Counting myself fortunate to see him throw out the first pitch at T-Mobile park to end the 2024 season, and the era of the Oakland A’s.

Dwayne the rock salt Johnson and bow-chica-plow-wow are legitimate lols

The line of cars parked under the no parking signs gets a grumpy old man noise from me every trip to the airport. Very optimistic now that “City officials have now installed a temporary ‘No Standing to Watch the No Parking Signs’ sign”

Fascinating breakdown of the correlation between sunsets, weather, whiff rate, and more at the place where baseball offense seems to die.

The Mariners play the Mets in the LL Classic in Williamsport this year… just saying for those of you considering mid August vacations to Pennsylvania.

Gladiator II was a much needed shot of nostalgia inducing brain candy with enough nearly comedic ridiculousness to make for a perfect evening with the family.

The path ahead for college athletics has to have a way for non-football schools to thrive. It’s not clear right now how non-power 4 schools will make this work. frontofficesports.com/santa-clara-...

having been brought up on a steady diet of mid to late 80s Cardinals baseball, I will always appreciate small ball. I was not surprised to see the 2024 Mariners featured, with Raley's speed he is so fun to watch at the plate.

hello world. spent yesterday poking around this place and am impressed and hopeful. it's been great running through follower lists to find a bunch of the folks that made the other place fun and seeing new things like labels and custom lists. here's a pug picture to brighten your day.
