Two hours before this got posted, a friend shared a video of his from a month ago. The video itself-- a defense of 80s cartoon writers who never got their flowers-- is fine. I didn't watch it, but this friend has good taste, so it passed their filters fine. Is there some rehab attempt campaign??

Not going to say who, but there's a youtuber who I've been impressed with for their ability to criticize Israel and differentiate it from Judaism. I just watched a clip from them that had a couple of dog whistley moments and some straight up gutter antisemitism in the comments. Don't love that.

I say this as someone who's watched the whole series at least twice and still listens to tracks from the series: No. It had as perfect a conclusion it could, we don't need more. That's not even going near the actors' deaths that should have removed it from consideration entirely.

Bonus: he tried to frame negative talk about her as antisemitism, but a number of the people saying "come on, now," were also Jewish. Weiss being Jewish doesn't preclude her from being a piece of shit, and definitely doesn't require that other Jews defend her.
