Dad, writer, gamer. Sure I'm losing my mind, but I'm willing to lend an ear.

Finally got around to watching Obsession. Good, not as good as the hype led me to believe. I don't regret seeing mando on the big screen instead. That said the premise, performances, and execution are great!

Musk would do this through those f*cking Trump Accounts they opened in every child's name without parental consent. I HATE these SO much. Parents cannot close the accounts. Parents cannot reject donations to the accounts. And we must hold on to donations for at least 5 years. I'm a state lawmaker.

Here is your scientific, and apolitical, reminder that a 10 day period is a Mooch. 10 Mili-Mooches are in 1 Mooch. 4 Mooches are in a Mega-Mooch. And finally 9 Mega-Mooches make a Kilo-Mooch. It's not a perfect measurement of complex time, but it's the best political science has developed so far.

Today, we honor Indigenous People’s Day, a day to celebrate Native cultures and recognize the fights for justice and autonomy that Native Americans still face. So, we invite you to join us in a day of learning, celebrating, and supporting local Indigenous communities.

15 thousand dollars raised over the past 4 hours, I would like to thank everyone who donated, shared, commented. I also want to thank everyone who still supports Ukraine, understanding that the war will continue until Russia has the capacity to wage one. givebutter.com/liberty-engi...

Something unprecedented happened during my visit to the Gulf. For the first time in 20 years in Congress, I was denied entry to U.S. military facilities and even meetings with military leaders. An order from Hegseth - that applies to both parties - to hide the cost of the war.

Do we realize that we have roughly 10 years before we get a well made FPS game that features a fictional villain nation named something like "The Patriot's Empire of Destined Order" set in an occupied North America?

Resident Evil (26) was a fun ride! If you're a fan of the franchise it is a must see. The tonal swings are wild and get a bit tiresome, but both horror and humor are expertly executed. Cregger's non-resolution is take it or leave it as with his other films.

This film is doing some incredible work on a moderate budget. The lighting is impeccable, the music is tense, and the theme in the writing is way deeper then most will appreciate.

I want Capcom to keep at it with this franchise, as this is a big score that the they've needed after several flops. We need more of umbrella corp, and the USS. We need a star action drama. I'm sure there'll be more.

Me watching Monsters Inc: "Why hasn't Disney tried to make this live action yet?" CEO/Nepo-President Waternoose gets arrested and disappeared: "I'll kidnap a thousand children before I let this company die!!!!!!" Me: "Oh yeah, this movie is blatantly political now."

The dog pile on the Halo Remake is fucking nasty. HStu obviously knew it was coming, but losing that initial public narrative direction is devastating. Content creators are gingerly finding things that deserve praise while titling content to capitalize on the hate. 1/4

This could have been a Dead space remake style accomplishment, and if they want to remake the rest of the trilogy it needs to be. Everyone gets a chance to iron things out, but going forward the priority needs to be enabling teams and ideas that resonate with this franchise and it's audience. 4/4

PS: The ODST character in the prequel mini campaign is unlikeable, but sometimes that's the point. Not all criticism is because it's a woman character, but everyone who hates women characters is on her like a Jakal sniper on legendary. It's just a shame the mini campaign couldn't have been more.

The game has issues, lots of them. But it's a new engine, a new team framework, and a much beloved game. If you were expecting this to define a new standard I can understand the disappointment, but it isn't Halo 5 and it didn't black hole development effort like Infinite. 2/4

Honestly the biggest problem seems to be that "above the line" decision makers got in the way of potential for passionate devs, writers, and designers in order to make a deadline, likely to prove that HStu deserved to live. And it does, but it needs to breath and thrive too. 3/4

I know it's the point, but game content embargos being lifted for early access kinda really sucks. Im all for being patient for the game, but it kills me not being able to watch that new content.

Here's a shout-out to all the blue collar professionals out there. Only ever had one or two jerks. Everyone else has been kind, knowledgeable, forthright, and honest in situations where those thing make all the difference in the world. Keep making the world work, you guys.

Some final thoughts on the Platner situation. 1. The man cares deeply about the state of Maine and his causes. Anyone who didn't wouldn't have dropped out. He should be lauded for this at least. 1/4

3. Dems obviously don't have a problem sifting out candidates, but the level of gloating is untenable. The situation is unfortunate. It won't be the last time, and there will never be a last time. If you want more human representation then you need understand candidates will be flawed humans. 3/4

4. There should be a path for those with a sordid past so they may continue to inspire their communities. Platner failed this time, but don't expect him to simply return to obscurity. Disgrace is a poor motivator in anything. We need to outline the path forward and support what comes next. 4/4

2. Like him or not Platner's character was all ways the big hurdle, some felt he cleared the bar others didn't. His reaction to this revelation is hopefully the final straw for anyone who wasn't sure. Denying someone you hurt in that way speaks much louder than the accusation itself. 2/4

Ninth Jedi looks great. Several other SW: Visions projects deserve a series as well. More star Wars and Disney anime are certainly a welcome change to Disney's lineup. Hope it resonates with audiences!

Toy Story 5 wins B plot of the year! Fun movie, enjoyed it more than 4. Writing is a little stilted at times, but the franchise is dealing with new themes as it transitions. I think we need a Wreck It Ralph crossover next.
