When daddy brings out the beating stick, the kids comply. That's a complete success for parenting.

Bellevue Police Capt John Stuck: “We get kids that once that school resource officer has put the gloves on, or they see that the gloves are on, they immediately comply without even touching them or doing anything. Which again, that’s a complete success for us.” Hmm, where have I heard this before?

OK they can just fuck ALL the way off.

On a lark I just went and read an order an administrative judge issued a couple weeks ago in a new case at the EEOC, even though the hearing it pertains to isn't scheduled for another month. And the AJ wants us to file something by tomorrow. Something I've never even seen an AJ ask for before.

I went to the laundromat yesterday. I had two big comforters that I needed to wash before fall. I put them in the machine. I selected Warm. Then added Extra Rinse. I added money. Then I hit the start button. It switched to Hot then started the cycle. Now imagine that would ban abortions.

Glad to see CNN reporting on this. @jimacosta.bsky.social and I raised concerns about DHS potentially using a military-grade “heat ray.” After 20+ years in national security, I find this deeply troubling. A weapon designed to inflict intense pain. Against civilians? Why does DHS need this?

Just a reminder that Starlink terminals were installed on the roof of the White House and other govt buildings. Thought that might be a relevant datapoint for some of you.

The clear implication of this is that the U.S. military is also at the mercy of Musk’s whims. He cannot be allowed to keep control over Starlink. He has demonstrated that he can’t be trusted with this power.

ok, yes. i used a little blood magic to make this potion. but in my defense, it's hard NOT to use blood magic these days. all the tomes and orbs are powered by it. blood magic is really a systemic issue. in a way i'm a hero for admitting i use it
