Hi! I’m an interdisciplinary sciences PhD student who works with cereal grain systems, predominantly with insects and microbes. I am also an artist who dabbles in crafts and illustrations. I like sharing my unbridled joy for the natural world with others. Thanks for joining me on this journey!

I’m obsessed! I love being a dragon. Thank you so so so much! 💜

I know it's a long wait, so I would incredibly appreciate any help right now, whether that's claiming a slot, sharing this post or dropping a lil tip to help us overcome the difficult times. Thank you all so much for your continued patience and support during this stressful time! 🧡 ko-fi.com/tokori

‼️COMMS OPEN‼️ I am busy with studying, but my husband still has expensive dental issues. Friends helped partially, but I need to open comms to cover the rest. Due to my heavy study schedule TaT is ~3 months. Claiming a slot or sharing is so appreciated right now! <3 tokoriart.carrd.co#commissions

Day one of the Ohio Renaissance Festival down! Everyone loves a unicorn 🦄✨

I love being a nerd and loving my hobbies and interests so much! I love being in multiple “fandoms”. It’s so fun to be multifaceted. I love when my furry + fantasy love comes together. God bless renaissance season.

bumping icons again! might raise the price sometime soon but i have my work schedule so i have an idea of what im doin haha! theyre 30$, im only taking 2 at a time!

Just saw a summary video of The Last Unicorn that was so rank in its reading. “She should have been immediately grateful to be turned into a human.” Man, if you don’t understand it’s about woman not having autonomy over their own bodies and choices, then I don’t think we watched the same movie.

Dolly Parton's family asked that, in lieu of flowers, fans make a donation to the singer's Imagination Library. Here's what the charity does ⬇️ www.rollingstone.com/music/music-...

POV: you’re scouting sorghum fields with me for aphids.

Hey, so our workshop got broken into over the weekend. Most of what was stolen was just replaceable stuff, but one very precious mask was taken. Tierney's head has been stolen. If anyone sees this head anywhere, let us know immediately. Hoping against hope that we can bring her home.

Getting very close with a serious draft of my research proposal! This thing is a monster but I’m beyond excited to take it to my committee and see if they judge it to be sufficient and me competent enough to do it. Every day is a step forward! No matter what.

Whoa! Found a clubbed mydas fly on my lunch walk. So large and beautiful coloration!

New aphid I found while sweep netting the sorghum fields - Sipha flava, better known as the yellow sugarcane aphid. They can transmit sugarcane mosaic virus.
