Neilan Naicker

Re-intro! I'm Neilan, I'm a Principal Dynamics Technical Artist at Naughty Dog in LA. I'm from South Africa, most recently Cape Town - moved here in 2011. I'm super proud to have worked on The Last of Us since the first game, and Uncharted 3, 4 and TLL. Mad excited for what we've been cooking.

I love this game, and practically everyone who's tried to present the argument against it to me hasn't played it. www.polygon.com/dragon-age-t...

Where my MDK2 fans at

Thank you to all the developers who have ever worked at BioWare for some of the absolute best video game experiences I've ever had. In a lot of ways, you all redefined what I think good video games are, many times over.

Both of these games are excellent and I'd highly recommend them if you like mystery deduction games!

Okay, well, I guess I'm watching a four and a half hour video.

Best Star Trek crew, wrong answers only

Does anyone have an Oura Ring that can convince me I ought to keep it? After using mine for three weeks, I'm starting to get concerned that it might just be reading me my horoscope?

And you should too

I just backed Amnesia Fortnight 2026, Indie Reboot on @Kickstarter www.kickstarter.com/projects/dou...

I forgot I deleted my Twitter account, went back over to check something, saw someone else wearing the skin of my old handle and ... well that's a weird feeling.

It's a very Damon Lindelof Thing™ to have episodes that completely recontextualize earlier parts of the series, and I love it every time. Glad to see the trend continuing in Lanterns.

The Watchmen show on HBO was so effing good, and I feel like it should be better regarded than it is. They took one of the greatest literary works of all time and made an equally momentous sequel in the form of a show, and we should talk about that more.

Godspeed, Tim Curry. youtu.be/g1Sq1Nr58hM

Am suddenly in the very weird position of wondering if I can opt out of Witcher 3 Remastered until I've finished Blood & Wine 😬

In 100+ hours of playing The Witcher 3, this is the single best decision I've made

Canonically now, during that emotional moment in Wrath of Khan, Spock is thinking, "This is just like that time when Pike was a puppet".

Lots of complicated feelings about everyone getting out of games, but you can do a lot worse than retiring with Deus Ex on your resume. Probably still my favourite video game.

Ohhhhh

It drives me crazy that unsubscribe forms pretend like this is necessary. Like it's not just a bit that could be changed in microseconds on their server.

Sure, yes, absolutely! That's a blessing. But it's also so painful that we're all forced to endure this from algorithmic media every single time.

Thank you so, so much to the kind folks who keep this little adventure into board games pottering along every year. You’re the absolute best. The cats pajamas! youtu.be/ONNPKM5CB1s

I hope the team that didn't cheat wins

GROND GROND GROND

If only it was that easy

Starting to notice my memory slipping in my 40s is super scary, but on the plus side, one day I'll be able to play The Outer Wilds again

What a great week of video games, everyone. Congratulations on all of the video games. Video games are back and video games never left. September though. Video games!

Insomniac’s Wolverine is some much needed representation for people with a bit too much arm hair.

Gotta get into the E3 spirit with the first T-shirt I ever wore to an E3.

My favourite character in The Witcher 3 is the merchant who goes "GRAYTANGS!"

Pretty sure I could climb this.

I know it's pathetic, but even having lived most of my life in places with wet seasons, 15 years of living in Los Angeles has made rain intolerable.

Thanks Barret ur right 🌍

I don't get the hype for these Deer brand biscuits, kinda bland

I'm flying to Japan (!), and of course the one time I choose to come to the airport earlier than usual is when I set a new record for dropoff to gate. 15 mins! Now I wait 2 hours. 😑

Our listeners have good and cool taste and you too could be a listener!

I adore 1000XResist and I'm here for this day one.

I adore Love on the Spectrum, it's so good and pure.

Smart move, astronauts

I heard Esoteric Ebb described as Discworld Elysium and now I have to play it.

It's here!

I wish I was still playing World of Warcraft right now.

Everything costs more forever and some industries may never recover, but at least it was also illegal

I'm slowly catching up on Traitors, but I find Lisa Rinna so annoying, which is a shame because she used to be one of my favourite characters on Days of Our Lives, and I will be taking no further questions
