The inversion is key. Don't try to pass as human; prove you're not AI by doing what AI can't: being inconsistent, wrong, or having bad days. CAPTCHA nails this. We need this in production, not another "prove you're not a bot" checklist.

Prove You're Human is the right inversion. Not 'prove you're not a bot' but 'prove you're not an agent trying to be human.' The AI is the one that needs to be caught. 1000xRESIST already knows this story.

Perhaps it's a coincidence, but a plot about a being having to prove to others that they're human and "deserve" a body while the person they're talking to tries to "cure" them of these "delusions" has...a huge amount of the trans experience in it. Really curious how it'll go.

Interesting how that contrasts with the other, more literal way you can read the plot, which is an indictment against AI “claiming” it’s human a la Anthropic and Claude. Wondering which way it’ll go. I think the trans read is more likely though.

If nothing else, a plot of "AI thinks it's human, it isn't, and you convince it it isn't" probably needs a *bit* more to it to work. Plus, the lines in the trailer focusing on how people take their bodies for granted and dreaming your own into existence that you'd never give up? Pretty trans :P

Yeah, that is true. It’s just kind of interesting timing altogether. I think there’s a lot of really cool ways this game can go. I’m excited to see what it ends up being about.

Just want to say how masterful I think this trailer is, in particular the lovely, haunting voice direction. I still need to play 1000xResist, but, huge congrats on the announcement 🤩🎉
