There's nothing quite like the sound of a suitcase falling all the way down an escalator. I'm thankful I've only ever seen it be a suitcase and not a person. Don't be the person. Use the elevators.

Play it safe! Traveling with extra luggage? Skip the escalator and take the elevator for a smoother ride through SEA. Get your full SEA Matchday Playbook: www.portseattle.org/SEA26

I'd love to see the responsibility list for 15(!) cameras too. I'm familiar a bit with how it ran for the Storm broadcast, but... 15! 👀

Not all heroes wear capes… some wear badges, headsets, or safety vests. 👏 We asked a few SEA team members to name the airport’s unsung heroes, and they shouted out Aviation Security, Parking, Pathfinders, VIP Services, Lost and Found, and beyond! 💚 #TerminalTidings

The new I-5/SR 529 interchange is now fully open! Crews just pulled the barriers from the roundabout. Now NB I-5 drivers can exit to Marysville or go south on SR 529; drivers also can go from SB SR 529 to SB I-5!

Sailing on our Mukilteo/Clinton route in early 2026? Keep reading. Between January 5-Feb. 13 2026, our Mukilteo/Clinton route will be out of service for a few midday sailings over 9 wkdys, plus 1 late pm sailing the night before, for repairs to an in-water structure at Muk dock.

Red flowers blooming on the berms? Sensational. I’ll take 15. 🔥🌹 💁‍♀️Those berms — the landscaped slopes along our bike & pedestrian bridge — not only look nice, they help block sound for a more peaceful journey across SR 520🌿

I have a summer job! 😊 Starting Monday I'm a Pathfinder at SeaTac airport, 5:30am-1:45pm, five days a week. I'll be staffing info desks to help passengers out with their questions. Passing through the airport? Let me know, and stop by to say hi!

I just grabbed the wrong container and sprinkled red pepper flakes on my bagel instead of everything bagel seasoning. How is your morning going?

HP Umpire Austin Jones ejected Twins SS Carlos Correa and manager Rocco Baldelli (strike two call to Brooks Lee; QOCY) in the #Twins-#Mariners game. Correa left his position in the on-deck circle to argue balls/strikes and failed to return when warned. www.closecallsports.com/2025/05/mlb-...

Hard to believe my first trip to Forks was 15 years ago this week. This is still my shot of that trip, and I have a print of it hanging in my office.

It was a trip of experimenting with random stuff too. A friend brought a camera made out of a keyboard box and I made this photo of the Hoh rainforest.

Using devcontainers and @vscode.dev for the last week or so is amazing. Took quite a bit of effort, but a "clone and go" repo for development is fantastic. I really wish workspaces for monorepos were better though. Can't auto-open a workspace when you run a devcontainer :(

Hello from SeaTac airport! I'm at the D info desk until 9:30. Need help finding a gate info display? I'm your display! Stop by and say hi. (Yes, I have a PB&J for a snack after too!)

Good morning! I'm at the D info desk across from D2 at SeaTac airport until 9:30. Need help finding Cordell "The Transformer" Truluck for an amazing shoe shine? Stop by and say hi!

Absolutely spectacular space station viewing opportunity Tuesday night in Seattle, and the skies might actually cooperate. Time: Tue Mar 25 8:47 PM, Visible: 5 min, Max Height: 85°, Appears: 10° above WNW, Disappears: 26° above ESE

I'm now 6 for 6 reuniting lost phones with their owners at SeaTac airport 🥳 This one was easy. She had her name and three emergency contacts listed. Her mom was the sweetest person on the phone.

Some of my favourite photos from Zion are trees against the rocks, and I'd totally forgotten about this one. Usually I'm there in the fall, so spring flowers is really cool.

Apparently, I was in a stark B&W mood on the trip too, since I made this photo of cottonwood buds. Another one I'd completely forgotten about and reminds me of photograms from my early PCNW days.

Tip for travelers: make sure you have an emergency contact set on your phone. That way when someone finds it and gives it to me I can call the contact to figure out who you are and get your phone back to you. (The phone I am currently holding has no emergency contact 😬)

Good morning from SeaTac airport! Need help finding the new way to N gates? I'm at the info stand by gate D2 until 9:30. Stop by and say hi!
