Emergency mutual aid needs $1400 - rent $400 - emergency root canal tomorrow (this is after insurance) $120 - medication refills $200 - money I need to pay the mental hospital this week towards my balance $150 - groceries $80 - cat vet shots this week for stomach issue

I have a theory, and I have no idea how valid it is but.... Does it kind of seem like a significant portion of MAGA consists of white people who were only more recently inducted into "whiteness"? Italians, for instance.

There's actually a kind of logic to this though. If your idea of the economy consists almost entirely of how you personally interact with it, then endemic shitty service=bad economy. Even though in reality, it probably means a tight labor market. The same could be said about workplaces.

An older family member (late 70s) has definitely complained about how bad service is at all the restaurants and shops she goes to and takes that to mean the economy is bad and unemployment is high (???).

Since 2022 my pay's probably increased by 25% or more and that's great. The tight labor market meant a more relaxed workplace in many ways. But it also meant lots of turnover and shitty coworkers. Workplace is suddenly a lot more frustrating and chaotic? Bad economy.

Plz help if you can things just keep worse & worse & at this point im genuinely considering cancelling surgery just so im not homeless the month after lol

Haunter 👻@holybible.bsky.social

I lost most of what I owned & all of my savings when I was assaulted into homelessness last spring, & now I'm going to lose my job 2 months before surgery due solely to Trump funding cuts. I'll have to pay for COBRA while making less money leading up to surgery - anything helps 🙏🙏🙏💕

With the caveat that the extent that these are accurate or valuable descriptions is limited.... I keep seeing people talk about "woke 1" and "woke 2" and that the peak of "woke 1" was 2020 and I don't really think that's accurate. "Woke 1" was during the latter years of the Obama presidency

Trump 2 is the backlash to *that*. There's actually a lot to be hopeful about here though. I think most people would agree that in many ways "woke 2" (as I've defined it lol) was significantly less fucking stupid and significantly more substantial at getting shit done in many ways.

That the backlash has been comparatively extreme this time compared to last means something. CHUDS feel more threatened now because the alternative is more substantial now....we just had a learning curve as a people.

At least some if not many of the prominent faces associated with it have since turned out to be pretty lame and/or genuinely shitty people. Brianna Wu and Shaun King come to mind. Trump 1 was the backlash. *The latter end of Trump 1 and the Biden years were "Woke 2"*.

So. I personally believe in psychic abilities. They're something that anyone (or most anyone) can cultivate, but like say, basketball, no amount of training and dedication will turn everyone into Michael Jordan. The thing is... It's usually a no-win situation.

Now neither of you knows if you're full of shit. It seems like a good way to get high on your own supply. I actually think a lot of the people that many would grifters actually aren't in the strictest sense. They're true believers. But they've been huffing their own flatulence for so long...

You can tell someone about something that's going to happen, and if it doesn't they'll just think you're crazy. If it *does* happen well now they think you're scary (or still crazy and it was just a fluke) And if they *do* listen, and avoid a crisis well...

A man who was actually being falsely accused would *insist* on a third party

Max Miller claims that he was willing to release the kidnapped bunny his daughter “forgot”, but only if he could hand it directly to a US Senator who probably didn’t want to go anywhere near him.

Absolutely surreal.

Remarkable camera angle of President Trump as he listens to Wall Street Journal reporters receiving an award for their investigation into Trump’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein — which they pursued despite Trump’s threats and lawsuit.
