The United States is behaving like a rogue state. The President has carried out an illegal act of war, kidnapped a foreign head of state, and is now threatening military action against NATO allies. This is a constitutional crisis. Impeachment must be on the table.

Following the President’s decision to bomb nuclear facilities in Iran, I’ve directed our public safety teams to be on heightened alert for potential threats to Minnesota. While there’s no known threats at this time, we’ll continue to monitor the situation and respond accordingly.

On Juneteenth, we celebrate Black freedom, resilience, culture, and the enduring strength of community across generations. We acknowledge our nation’s full history and the long, ongoing fight for freedom and justice for Black Americans.

Every time I post about ICE tactics, I get replies, “This is what I voted for.” Really? You voted for a mother crying for mercy while her child is still in school—about to come out and find her missing? There isn’t another way to go about this that preserves our humanity?

The observance of Juneteenth calls us to recommit ourselves to the work of equity, equality, and justice. Each June 19, and especially today in Minnesota, we are reminded of our incredible capacity to heal, hope, and emerge from our darkest moments with purpose and resolve.

On Juneteenth, we celebrate freedom and recommit ourselves to the work that remains undone. We remember that even in the darkest hours, there is cause to hope for tomorrow’s light.

The Minnesota shooter apparently used data broker websites to find the home addresses of the people he shot and murdered. Congress has had years to do something about data brokers and they've sided with the tech lobby over and over again. Their inaction is deadly.

I did an event in DC & there was a party for donors etc after. Was talking to 2 ppl & I said "Things are so bad." They said "No this is how it is. Things swing one way, then another. It's normal." That's when I realized why Dems are toothless. They have no idea what this is. Frogs boiling in water.

I am devastated by the loss of Minnesota State Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, in a horrifying act of violence. Our prayers are with their children and all who loved them, and with State Senator John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette, who were also targeted.

Hmmmm . . . I wonder how the Minnesota assassin might have had access to a police uniform, a police badge, and a police cruiser. Are we *sure* he was "impersonating" a police officer?

A Democratic Mayor arrested. A Democratic Congresswoman indicted. A Democratic Senator tackled and detained. A Democratic State Representative killed. A Democratic State Representative in critical condition. We can all see where this is going.

This was a setup to make peaceful protests look bad. The suspect had “no kings” flyers in his suv.

Horrifying news out of Minnesota this morning as political violence takes the lives of Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark. @Chasten and I are holding their loved ones in our hearts and praying for State Senator John Hoffman and his wife Yvette as they recover.

I’ve been briefed this morning on an ongoing situation involving targeted shootings in Champlin and Brooklyn Park. The Minnesota Department of Public Safety and local law enforcement are on the scene. We will share more information soon.
