The Doomed Index's quarterly Dexcom competition is starting up again, and I have a map in it this time! Behold MAP08 "Iron Mother's Cenotaph", this quarter's medium-difficulty map (which correlates to either Recruit or Marine difficulty on the Index)

so far i think this is a bit of a let down gameplay wise. the camera is way less responsive somehow despite the snappier speed, no punt enemy on the ground, no backdash. it's all small things but it all adds up to just kinda feeling lamer to play still good fun tho!

finished silent hill for the first time. game is beautiful, some of the coolest visuals i've ever seen, incredible sound design, simple but intriguing story. i like how a lot of the puzzles throw you off with contextual clues but end up being really direct. imma start playthrough 2 like now xdd

finished plerbgate map20 today! (well, more or less, it hasn't been fully tested yet.) this one's quite a doozy, certainly the hardest map i've made so far and one of my best. now the first 28 maps in a row are finished, with just the last 4 maps left to make! here's a very small preview of map20:

as a second thought, I guess the midis aren't that good this time around. tbf i wasn't really feeling like making midis for it but i did just to keep the tradition alive. SSS01 tho, I fucking locked in that time, how the fuck did I write all those bangers with 1hr and a half for each.
