How did the game of T20, a shortened format of summer cricket designed to finish in well under 3 hours become a game that finishes after midnight on a week night in October? 🇳🇿🏏

Randomly recalling that the Pak N Save coin twirly donation thing used to say "Pak n Save supports Child Cancer" which I always thought was a bold position to take

This is downtown Tauranga. The building in the background on the left is our new library, opening in less than 2 weeks. In the foreground is the construction of a museum, hopefully opening mid-2028.

Thanks to everyone who shared this quiz, it has well and truly escaped containment - over 1,000 submissions (8.13 average score, 14 scores of 15/15). 300 since midnight so we are now being seen overseas. This image was guessed by only 21.4% of people

This is your school holiday assignment. Complete the school lunch quiz by matching the image to the name - a quiz based on the school lunch images sent by @ninjakitty.bsky.social this past school term. There are 15 images in total. forms.gle/et7qDL4VGBJH...

I was contacted this morning by Stuff asking if I would have a chat to discuss the quiz. I declined as the images speak for themselves and all I am doing is collating those images. However, more than happy for the quiz to be spread far and wide so please share with your networks.

We've reached 250 attempts at this NZ school lunch quiz. Still only a single score of 15/15 (unsurprisingly). Thanks to all who submitted themselves to this rustic visual treat

The top 4 most unidentifiable school lunches so far. See how well you do in the quiz - the average score is 8.6/15

Lots of things are now called "AI" when they are just plain old computing in the same way that this was called a "COMPUTER BOOK" when it was just a plain old magnet

The reason I will perish ..... On a cruise ship rapidly sinking and we're filling the lifeboats. "There are 17 people and the lifeboat can only take 16, we need less people, how do we decide which person to leave behind?" Me: "You mean fewer people"

The new Tauranga Library building opens on Friday 16 October (that's the building in the background of the image). Hopefully this is the start of the regeneration of the city centre with the museum construction well under way

Woke up at 1.30am this morning #NoZzzzzealand and put on the Open golf to see how it was looking - ended up watching until Ryan Fox hit the winning putt. A truly remarkable win to birdie the tricky final hole to seal a one shot win. Not often I say this but "GOLF ROCKS!!"

That's the best half of rugby I've seen the All Blacks play in quite a while. Plus Tupou Vaa'i is the new Dane Coles - could start a fight in an empty room.

To get more respect from the players, the referee for the upcoming World Cup final should dress like the ref from the first final back in 1930. And be an absolute unit ....

Reflecting back, I'm not sure the World Feed commentator greeting the winning goal in a World Cup semi-final with "Awwwww, England are in trouble now" is the neutral vibe we should be getting.

Disabled all the AI functions in Adobe Acrobat reader and it is so much better. I generate and open a lot of PDFs and it was becoming painful to scroll through them - no problem now.

Having been to the Women's World Cup group game between Argentina and Sweden, I can confirm that Argentinian fans are the noisiest. Even with the game lost, the singing never stopped.
