pro-tip to new followers:
i repost a lot of anime-style illustrations, and do not always talk about computers all of the time.
if you do not wish to see my reposts, though, you can turn them off by following the steps in the image. afterwards, they will not appear in any of your timelines.
love to find a banger video about one of the largest financial scandals in italian history
hate to realise that it's in italian and that means i can't share it with anyone else
oh wait god the death note plot aspect of needing to know how to write someone's name to kill them doesn't translate well outside the sinosphere does it, in most of the world's languages it is easy to spell someone's name if you have heard it spoken
having a problem that i foresaw earlier but decided to ignore at the time: my connection is so abysmally shit even at idle that the ping RTT is exceeding the threshold for a failed ping, which means my router is continuously rebooting itself
this automation now looks even sillier. home assistant is one of the best bodging tools ever invented
what this does is watch my network conditions by continually pinging 1.1.1.1, and if enough pings fail in a row, sends me a notification and reboots the router automatically
i got to the home assistant panel in time and switched it off, but holy shit lol. it's probably funny if you aren't me, the one who has to live with the dogshit connection

oh man, VFKHESBS ("vector floating point kompare (yes, really, with a K) and signal high or equal single BFP and set CC") and also a whole set of math operations described as "yucky" and i have no idea what makes them such
if you ever want a good laugh, you should look at the instruction mnemonics for the IBM System/360. it contains instructions such as ALGHSIK ("add logical with signed immediate 64<16"), JNOP ("jump on condition *never*"), and LOCGHINZ ("load on condition grande from halfword immediate if not zero")

other choice instructions are AHHHR ("add high and high to high register"), NIY ("AND immediate yonder"), NNPA.MATMULOPBCAST23 (yes, that's one instruction), and 🏳️🌈BIFLAG🏳️🌈 (we literally do not know, its description is listed as "???")
