Back on your screens for Arena Champs 13! In a dress that is DEFINITELY tighter than when I last wore it 😭 and in the booth with the indomitable @aryawrites.bsky.social 💜💜💜 twitch.tv/magic

Heyo reminder to donate to the WotC x Trans Lifeline campaign!! It's run by @aryawrites.bsky.social and if you donate 50 bucks you can get 10k Arena gems :3 the stream is this Saturday as well tiltify.com/@hogpog-98/c...

Can't believe rent was only $500 when the original of this meme was created 🥲

Also, was this article written with AI? The em dashes and general tone have me all kinds of sus 😐 magic.wizards.com/en/news/anno...

Somehow *this* is the most infuriating sentence in this article. THEY WERE ALREADY CALLED BOOSTER PACKS BEFORE

We planned to share a super fancy graphic revealing our 2027 t-shirt design, buuuut it turns out our graphic designer is quite busy today hammering out those final details. ...But I think I communicated the vibe pretty well, right? (actual design reveal coming soon, we promise 💖)

The designers behind your favorite games are uniting for a very special cause! Learn all about the upcoming stream in support of @translifeline.org coming to twitch.tv/magic 10AM Pacific this Saturday: magic.wizards.com/en/news/anno...

THE TESSELLATION 😍😍😍😍😍

We’d like to offer a massive thanks for all the support the Shoebox community has shown us -- we're absolutely blown away by the number of Early Bird badges that have already been claimed. 💖 A second allocation of early bird Supporter tier badges has been added, available for the next ten days only!

A few more kind words from one of our attendees last year! As a quick reminder, Early Bird badge sales close October 10th -- we only have a few Early Bird badges of each type left, so be sure to snag yours today! 🐦

Is this a good pack? lol

Aaaand we are LIVE! 🎉 Head on over to shoebox.gg/badges to lock in your spot for Shoebox 2027!

Huge thanks to the folks at @edhrec.com for speaking with the Shoebox team and sharing their thoughts on our first year's event! ✨ We're incredibly excited to show you all what we've got in store for Shoebox 2027, and we hope to make it bigger and better than ever!

Calling all Cube-ists, card slingers, and (yes, even you) control players! ❤️ We hope you're as excited for Shoebox 2027 as we are! Only a limited amount of discounted badges will be available, so mark your calendars -- early bird badges go on sale September 19th!

As we look forward to Shoebox 2027 (eee!), we can't help but reminisce on the incredible time we had together this year. 💖 Thank you so much to everyone who made our very FIRST event such a success! Missed last year, or fearing the FOMO? Keep those eyes on the timeline, important info coming soon! 👀

The Curtis Sliwa interview is the greatest piece of performance art of this decade

I think I would respect Universes Beyond a lot more if they made some really left-field choices and committed hard. Like. Give us Le Petit Prince or Arrested Development or the Wes Anderson Cinematic Universe instead of the same slop we already see in every other fucking form of media

Calling all creators, artists, and indie format hosts! Shoebox community applications for 2027 are now LIVE! 🎉 This will be open until October 31st, with approvals sending out shortly after in December -- be sure to get those applications in and show us what you got! ✨ shoebox.gg/artist-guest...

SECOND CONTAINER

99.9% less likely to have a blizzard this time! (for legal reasons this is not a guarantee)

Hard to believe that it's been almost a month since we got married! I love how the photos came out. It was a dream turned reality and we were so fortunate that our friends and family came from afar to celebrate with us 🤍

We got married by the sea!

Love this! We truly have the best community out there, and we really show up for each other despite it all 💖 We're already feeling nostalgic and it's only been two months! 😭💖

No. Your childhood nostalgia does not matter more than the lives of real people. And frankly I'm fucking tired of having to pretend that isnt a fucking insane thing to say in response to "please don't support the hate monger lady's soggy, reheated nachos"

Every time I make a maths joke around magic players I live to regret it

Pretty magical to be a part of this project. Drew found me on Sunday at my most exhausted, but I was honoured to be able to say the words that have been building in my heart.

TIL that Akroma canonically turned into a catgirl after being slapped by a goth ??

Rebellions are built on hope

Just landed in Vancouver and literally all we’ve done in the last two days is think about stuff for next year’s @shoebox.gg 🤭

i have a million thoughts about shoebox but the one that keeps sticking with me is what an honor and a pleasure it has been to be working with every single person on the team. admin, judges, coverage, artists, vendors, even venue staff and the local shops who printed our t-shirts and playmats etc

shoeboxers: take these emotions - these intense feelings of connection and creation and joy - and let them burst forth into the wider world. send this energy outwards and let it resonate through everything you do. i love each and every one of you sickos

Won the Team Limited main event at @shoebox.gg!!

As someone who is a cube event tournament organizer, has been plugged into the cube scene for a while, has had conversations with the organizers, and is pretty generally in the know, I have a lot of thoughts about Shoebox. I hope it’s not too soon to post something like this, but buckle up. 🧵

Baby’s first alter 👀

When I get home remind me to tell you all about one of the most insane @shoebox.gg stories (a heavily contested field)

Oops we accidentally ordered smol badges 🤭 I think they’re cute tho #Shoebox2026

BETTER NOT BITTER @peachypopcos.bsky.social I am stealing this phrase forever thanks also, shiny trophies 🤩
