$100 million is the price tag for Premier Smith's referendum. That is money that could have gone into our crumbling hospitals. Specifically when Albertans are waiting nearly THREE YEARS for an MRI. My constituents are absolutely furious about Premier Smith’s wrong priorities.

First world problems… Not getting ready for an epic trip to South Africa, only to get ready in 10 minutes, then get in trouble because I got ready too fast. That’s why I wasn’t packing yet.

Time people did some reading and learn why separation is not an option. #stayinschoolkids

“First Nations chiefs from Treaty No. 6, 7 and 8 gathered in Edmonton for an emergency meeting, and all stood firm on denouncing any movement towards a referendum on separation.” #abpoli #ableg #cdnpoli edmontonjournal.com/news/politic...

Time for the government to start caring about the people. The workers. The students.

“There are two things the provincial government is doing… First, they are not providing sufficient funding to school boards to pay these workers a fair wage. Second, the government is dictating what school boards can offer” #abpoli #ableg #cdnpoli edmontonjournal.com/opinion/colu...

Would be nice if she put some effort into Albertans who work for a living.

This seems like a huge waste of tax dollars. Particularly while 6,600+ education support workers across Alberta are on strike. Info: alberta.cupe.ca Redford was ousted for way less than this. So dumb. #Alberta #abpoli

Elbows Up! Canadians don't back down from a fight and we won't back down from this one. Support your local retailers. Buy from Canadian producers. Let's stand together and show that Canadians may not start fights but we finish them. #ElbowsUpCanada #ElbowsUp #BuyCanadian

The time for silence is past. Time to make noise.

The simple act of booing during Trump’s speech would go a lot farther than standing there in matching outfits or walking out. Stand your ground. Call a traitor a traitor and boo. Silent protest doesn’t work when their goal is to keep you silent. #3E #SOTU

We should always put the power to work for the people.

If what people want now is a strongman…offer them a socialist strongman. Offer them certainty and authoritarian rule under a socialist banner. The scapegoat is the rich, not the poor; far-right ideologues, not immigrants. Nationalize everything.
