if nothing else we clearly have politicians that know this and want change. Mamdani is a huge example but the Biden admin pushed really hard for blue collar workers rights and unions. many Americans clearly feel the pressure from social/tech conglomerates and want breakups to happen.

all my rambling aside: please register and go vote. we vote for people to take these burdens off our shoulders so we can focus on life, but there are many in the business of sitting on their ass. so we do our civic duty.

we need many corrupt politicians in jail. we need to break up megacorpos. we need to curb stomp corporate influence in politics. we need so much done and it can feel overwhelming. but we have to try as best as we can anyway

my views on politics can swing pretty wildly but I do very much see what the US is going through as a queer (primarily transgender) genocide and a slide into technofascism. we need more than just voting to be done but right now voting has to be the first step and it's terrifying

Next up is Bei Bei!! A rather strange, silly hospital tech. Always playing around with her gadgets and gizmos, knowing that tuning them just right can lead her to victory... Bei Bei probably changed the most from initial sketch to release. Ended up being one of my favorites.

the leaked mass effect 5 trailer looks insanely good, assuming the in-engine claim is real. its seemingly really hard to advertise a mass effect game though

most of the trailer is combat. if im being honest i could not give less of a shit about combat. the interesting parts of mass effect to me have always been the conversations, the emotional conflicts.

frankly im a bit disappointed they didnt continue andromeda's story. i get why. but its sad. the milky way story is done and shouldn't be touched (even if the ending wasnt great). it would never have gone well imo.
