Always thought I was an average crastinator but according to my wife I'm a pro. Bad jokes, poker and rugby, with occasional soccer, books and NI politics thrown in for the craic

Looking at what Ireland have just done well for that try it makes me wonder why Farrell has opted for 2 back rows off the bench when we're crying out for size off the bench. Surely we have a fit 2nd row can come on #NZvIRE

I whole Infantino bending over for Trump thing was entirely predictable given his behaviour in the lead up to this WC. The real question is how do we feel about Pochettino if he uses Balogun tonight? He'd previously been very big on fair play

I know we're down some front rowers but the Irish scrum is so atrocious, coupled with the lineout being sub par and Ireland will be lucky to reach the QFs to be eliminated next year

Was watching the RL on BBC and as an irregular viewer, I was really struck by the inconsistency in the kicking quality from the 2 teams' stand offs, some of the kicks to touch for pens was atrocious yet they had such control over their dinks over and high balls to contest, RU def more consistent

In terms of level of kicking. Noticed kicking tactics feel like the main difference between the games too when I switched iver to watch the Leinster- Stormers game

The wind and rain were pretty grim but can't argue with that result. A few great performances, Doak and Murphy were excellent in particular, played the conditions so well #SUFTUM

I'm very late to this as I missed the game yesterday but this will be evergreen in the Toonie chat #6N

-it's gonna be Scotland's year - dog shit performance - GT's job might be in danger - smashes England - Toonie is the chosen one

Fully appreciating I have my Ulster glasses on but honestly Rob Baloucoune has been the 2nd best player on the pitch today for me. Has got through a mountain of work. JGP head and shoulders above everyone else, just insane work

I was miles off the Scotland game, 2 points off the Ireland result and spot on with the French result, to misquite the song almost 2 outta 3 ain't bad

Ireland by 5 Draw in calcutta cup (Finn misses last min conversion) France by 42

www.bbc.co.uk/sport/footba... Have to say the work in already trying to excuse Frank's failure and not taint his reputation further is in pretty stark contrast to how Postecoglu was treated. Ange's injury list was because of his training whereas Frank was just a victim of bad luck, ridiculous

bbc.co.ukThomas Frank sacking: Tottenham appointment a gamble that ended in failureThomas Frank's sacking came as no surprise on Wednesday. His appointment by Tottenham was a gamble that ended in a storm of toxicity, writes Phil McNulty.

I have a soft spot for Ange after his time at Celtic, but it does feel like a bit of a double standard. Also, I doubt anyone lesser than a deity could make Spurs look normal at this point

Lads it's feeling like Gatland early 2000s when he gave a load of youngsters a shot time with Ireland. Fitness permitting I'd love to see Edogbo, Casey and Izzy get a start next time out #FRAvIRE

Great breakdown of where the game could be won and lost for Ireland. Feel that France will focus less on scrum(could still milk a few pens though) and more on killing Ireland at the lineout with that light pack

@90minutecynic.bsky.social is this a tinfoil hat take? Have Celtic spent nothing in Jan so the board can post YTD figures for period up to 31/1 that might land them a bonus? Spending early to bolster the squad was obviously the way to go, but they'll use the manager change to excuse not doing it

It wouldn't surprise me that they get money for posting profits/minimising losses so I could see a world where it happens, I just dont want it to be true as it would show how little they care about the success of the club and just want to line their own pockets

That farce people are calling a boxing match is on tonight, and not gonna lie, I've never warmed to Joshua, but for my love of the sport I really hope he send that YouTuber to the shadow realm

Delighted to see Ulster rotate this heavily. As good as a cup run would be, league has to be the priority. Izzy being back is great to see and McNamara being in the 23 is exciting too

Off to the old affidavit stadium (love the autocorrect here as it won't be anything other than Ravenhill) tonight for the rugby, first Ulster match live in a few years. Really looking forward to it, and spotted some of the Benetton lads in town today #URC #ULSvBEN

Ten years ago this Friday, the All Blacks became the first team to ever retain the Rugby World Cup. This felt like a perfect occasion to tick off a video we've been wanting to make for a very, very long time. So were the 2015 All Blacks the Greatest Team of All Time?

Found a whole rugby community to engage with, so I'm not longer burning my wife's ear with my random rugby thoughts. Can keep in touch with long distance friends and get to share in some of the great things happening in our lives

Has anything great happened in your life because of social media?

OK musicos, Tuesday boredom killer. What are your favourite cover versions of songs? 4 of mine Ataris- Boys of Summer (Don Henley) George Michael & Mary J Blige- As (Stevie Wonder) Stereophonics- Don't Let Me Down (Beatles) Personal fave is Futureheads- Hounds of Love (Kate Bush) #covers

Bluesky people of #Ireland ,as I live in the north I don't see a lot of coverage of it but what's the craic with this random half yank lad running for president? Only vibe I'm getting from a few pics and soundbites is techbro Conor McGregor

PSA to anyone with access to BBC sport or iPlayer. Find the all Ireland hurling final, starts at 3.30, and sit back and enjoy one of the best annual sporting spectacles around. You'll thank me later

Uber frustrating watching Ireland today, just not converting all that territory and possession and fair play to Scotland for making the most of the scraps they've had, they've been clinical #SCOvIRE

Such as the game's not going our way, seeing Izzy as a lineout menace tonight has been great, he's added so much to his game in the last year. Should have Joe McCarthy worried for his place #LEIvULS
