Trump is again illegally freezing nearly $1 billion in funding approved by Congress intended to support communities. His priorities couldn't be more clear: rob us of research grants, education funding, and housing programs while doing nothing to address the affordability crisis.

commondreams.orgTrump 'Gleefully Eviscerating' Efforts to Help Families With 'Illegal' Pocket Rescission | Common DreamsTrump faces backlash from elected Democrats and the Senate's top Republican appropriator for cutting nearly $1 billion in spending via a legally contested process.

These actions are part of the Trump administration's clear pattern of attacking Black women in power who dare to challenge them. We are in solidarity with Rep. McIver as she continues to fight this sham case in court, and we cannot allow this to happen in the shadows.

The allegations of domestic violence & child abuse against Rep. Max Miller demand immediate action. This kind of abuse isn't just a private "family matter"—and no amount of shaming or blaming make it less serious. His response to these very serious allegations make clear that he is not fit to serve.

nytimes.comMax Miller, Accused of Abuse, Is Not Stepping Aside. Here’s What We Know. The Ohio Republican who is seeking a third term defiantly denied domestic abuse allegations ahead of a deadline to replace him on the ballot.

House Republicans just approved a plan for $95 billion in new funding. Instead of investing in what helps women & families - child care, health care, and food - they are pouring funds into the Iran war and Trump-backed proposals to restrict voting in the lead-up to the midterms. We deserve better.

I've been in the room since the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing began this morning, watching Acting AG Blanche dodge questions and spew lies. One thing is clear: if he’s confirmed, he would keep using the DOJ to serve his own interests and protect his friends, not Americans.

BREAKING: The Supreme Court just signed off on allowing states to ban trans girls and women from participating in school sports. Schools with existing inclusive policies are still legally allowed to keep those policies and should maintain those policies.

These attacks were always politically motivated and there was NEVER a credible cause for her dismissal. We continue to see the Trump administration make deliberate, repeated targeted attacks on prominent Black women leaders who dare hold him and his administration accountable.

We're proud to have worked to help these brave women veterans share their stories and highlight how the Trump administration's dystopian VA abortion ban puts pregnant veterans at risk.

Ms. Magazine@msmagazine.com

Late last year, the Trump administration’s Department of Veterans Affairs reinstated a total ban on abortion care and abortion counseling. Three veterans explain the real-world consequences of that decision:

For her courage and leadership defending her community, her constituents, and our democracy, she is attacked and dehumanized by the most powerful man in the world. This is right out of the authoritarian's playbook. It is as disgusting as it is anti-democratic. This is what fascism looks like.

March Bell, Trump's nominee for Inspector General of Health and Human Services, is an anti-abortion extremist with a long record of abusing government resources. The Senate must vote NO on his confirmation to protect access to reproductive health care—and the integrity of taxpayer dollars.

It’s not too late. We need to put pressure on these senators to fight for what’s right and PROTECT the 22 million Americans facing unaffordable health care costs. Tell them to vote NO on the latest shutdown bill. Text SHUTDOWN to 87544 to get directly connected to your senators.

Days before service members are set to miss a paycheck because of the government shutdown, Senate Republicans continue to ignore the national health care crisis & find new ways to inject ideological priorities into what should be bipartisan efforts to support military families. Read our statement:

The courts are one of the strongest safeguards we have to block or delay Trump’s dangerous, illegal actions—including kidnapping and deporting immigrants, attacking law firms and universities, undermining access to health care, destroying DEI programs, and firing federal workers en masse.
