The follow-up to the #ChemEd #Chemistry #ChemSky summary introducing mass spectrometry. I've now published the blog version and it can be found at the link below. It has a little more detail, lots more pictures & is hopefully a nice expansion of the summary. The 1 page summary below as well. Enjoy

Something different, a #ChemEd #Chemistry #ChemSky intro to mass spectrometry. It just gives a high level overview, focusing on the spectrum, the peaks (molecular ion, isotope & fragment peaks) & the types of data (not how it is generated) & the 'fun' of different definitions for mass.

Just finished listening to Brute Force by Scott Meyer (& great narration by Luke Daniels). Entertaining & I like the snarkiness (is that a word?). Has fun with some of the common sci-fi tropes. Hope I'm not offending anyone by saying this doesn't take itself seriously & is a bit of lighthearted fun.

Just finished reading "Last Orders" by Caimh McDonnell. The 4th & not last in the Dublin Trilogy (insert Douglas Adams increasingly inaccurately named quote). Really enjoyed this one. They're great characters & the humour is just right. Will be reading more of these at some point.
