It was really lovely to spend the day with @jamieanguswhiteoak.bsky.social on her Big Zero Birthday on Wednesday! We had breakfast on the boat, visited Manchester Museum and dinner at Sam's Chop House.

Last weekend at Grogmeet. This feels like months ago now with work being so busy. Guy Milner's Glorantha game, where I played a troll descended from royalty with a taste for caviar.

Back in Manchester for Singing in the Rain at the Royal Exchange. It really did rain indoors, and they tap danced in it.

Visited the Archaeological dig at Lucentum. I liked how they marked the different areas by gravel colour. It was an impressive site that took a couple of hours to see. Lovely day for it.

Roof top cocktail bar Boga in San Juan, after a day of mountain climbing for Leona and investigating fun places for me, as well as a lovely paella for lunch at Port de la Mer 🥘

Lovely day in El Campello, we managed to get out for some sunshine before the raincloud tracked us down.

Returned to Banaras for the full tasting menu. It was lovely.

Today we went to Benidorm. The tram home is a nightmare I'm happy to forget but it was a lovely sunny beach day.

Yesterday's beer festival at Kelham Island in Sheffield was so much fun. Not packed, friendly, happy crowd and great company.

Last night in Malta at Mez Indo-Cuisine. 3 out of 8 days were torrential icy rain lightening storms that left everything we wore sopping, but Leona found a covered area by the bay with really nice, eye wateringly hot, but tasty food 💓

Dinner at Mestizos was £100 but worth it, not even the most expensive night yet 😲 The after dinner desserts/drinks were alcoholic cheesecake and alcoholic tiramasu in glasses 😆

Tonight was the first meeting of my work place based, BeeProud Staff Network, Dungeons and Dragons gamers. It was really fun. I love that work is becoming more like a Stross novel where we actually have DnD break outs 🤣
