i want animated pfps on bluesky. i should implement that in goungle in some capacity, prolly as a secondary animatedAvatar field in the lexicon that doesn't go through the CDN

tried proper full vibecoding today because i had an assignment i need to turn in by tomorrow that i truly could not care for less and holy shit, *this* is what all the devs have been preaching?????

does it get better, on a fundamental level? is there a difference some layers deep in when you finally get the right skills, find the right harness, get the right model, configure the right system prompt, where it clicks and gets good? or is it sunk cost fallacy trying to find where it clicks?

i've hit my personal limit. i think i've been undergoing sunk cost fallacy this entire time thinking there's any merit to LLM-assisted development, it's time to give up for good

i think that was the single most soul draining programming experience i've ever had. by the end of it i did not have the accomplishment of finishing a project, just depression towards the state of software development

ultimately a lot of it comes down to personal issues with it (like the lack of agency and OCD over using it in the first place) and i understand that those shouldn't really count but even overlooking that, wow that was a humiliating, awkward and utterly effortless exercise in producing slop

i could never be an artist because if you compliment my art i just say "yay" and don't internalize it and stare at you blankly

working on goungle as a pure-js minimal dependency SPA is really fun because it's like 70% architectural little programming puzzles. but it's also really daunting because that's a lot of puzzles and a lot of thinking

ultimately i am just reinventing the wheel here but what matters is i'm having fun. just as in game development i roll my own code for everything because it's fun i do the same here. i love having full control over my entire stack. i could never vibecode because that's the opposite of this approach

i'm so sad bc it means i can't upload the video i was about to post on there which is this

ultimately i don't care it's just a bot that i now don't have to maintain but i'm prolly never going to find out why this happened or try to appeal it since it's not on the bluesky pds. it may be a temporary ban. we'll see

Copy Image has robbed me of the wonderful experience of having a bunch of bullshit saved on my pc

this means so much to- huh? hello? what is that? what the fuck is that why is it looking at me like that

ohh i don't like the new witchsky reply icons. i kinda already kept only reply numbers on for the purpose that they serve, so now i just have two indicators of reply count..

maybe the solution to this is to just move the dots out and make it a new impressions level, eg πŸ—¨οΈβ‹―. i was kinda thinking of doing something like it for my client
