Jenny the guinea hen is painted and ready to be taken to her new owner as a surprise gift.

Spent six months working on this one off & on. It’s a Guinea hen for a family friend who has been there for us for years. She used to have a flock in her neighborhood that loved her yard. This is the most detail I’ve put in a piece. Check out the feathers. Now for my least favorite part, painting.

I wish I knew how to stop the narcissists affecting the nation and the narcissists affecting my smaller community. There seems to be an abundance of them.

I used to look for moments in history to inspire my kid. Moments where people fought for their rights to make the world a better place for all and for the future. Now I look for people to show her how they stood up against and fought and survived this persecution, so can she.

Juan Carlos Lope-Gomez was detained by ICE following a traffic stop where he was a passenger. He had ID and proof that he was born here. His mother had to present the court with his official birth certificate in order for him to be released. So glad he is out and with his family.
