The answer to "should I trim my nose hair" is always yes

My group got called for jury duty today.

Why, Sam, why? #dogsofbluesky

End Game

Sam is going to sleep tonight. #dogsofbluesky

No birds so far

Nice view of the lake and a beaver who lives here.

Sam's day to hunt today. There was a pretty juicy storm rolling thru at legal start time, so we waited. Most of it has passed now.

This dog is going to have a bad day

A few critters from the #garden today.

That's an afternoon's work. #masonbees

You take the white paper tube out of the protective cardboard tubes and then you take the cocoons out of the paper tubes. Store all the cocoons in a humid environment in the fridge all winter. Only a billion to go now. #masonbees

One of us flushed 2 birds. The other whiffed the only shot he got. I'll let you guess who. #dogsofbluesky #hunting

My prostate is bad and must be punished. Let's have someone punch a bunch of holes in it. Such a fun procedure.

Wooiooooooo #seakraken

I used to self-medicate my feelings away with alcohol and drugs. I really miss those days

I don't think I like my dentist anymore.

Scorpion pepper #craftbacon. Oh shit, this batch is hot.

Pumpkin pie spice #craftbacon. Yummy

#Garden_Walk today

He has kicked Sam out of his crate.

Another walk in ugly clothes. This time Meriadoc brings home some meat. Excuse the blood on his forehead.

Today is my 2 year stroke-a-versary.

Fall is Mason bee cocoon harvest season. Know someone with a bee house they’ve never opened? Now’s the time to help them start. It takes an afternoon and protects every Mason bee nearby.

It's all part of the plan.

We've got'em right where we want them.

We could both use a bath.

Froggy

We decided to go today. #dogsofbluesky #hunting

I just had a young man hit me with the, "well, technically it's illegal, but..." argument and I had to shut him down. No, you just don't care about breaking the law.

The legislation referenced is the No AI Data Centers on Federal Lands Act (H.R. 9939), introduced in the House by Representative Rashida Tlaib alongside several co-sponsors. A companion or parallel effort has also been pushed in the Senate ( efforts led by Senator Ron Wyden). youtu.be/w3o9IqGsOb4

I've got other plans on my 2 year strokeaversary, but I plan on hunting that field on Saturday.

Fuck those fucking fuckers.

I am watching a drug commercial in which one of the side effects is a potentially fatal infection of the perineum. W T F. What a terrible way to die.

I was harvesting the Bosc pears when it started raining again. I swear the dogs ate everything they could reach.

Another walk in ugly clothes. I hope I have time to clean my wife's car before she gets home.

A full Mason bee cocoon harvest (ASMR). Open the reeds, sort out the pests, wash off the mud and frass, then store the cocoons until spring. Skip the bleach. It's too harsh on cocoons. Step by step guide: crownbees.com/pages/how-to-harvest-mason-bee-cocoons

Coloring up nicely. #autumn

Pippin did great work today. He flushed 2 roosters. I got part of one, but it ran to the edge of a cliff and I called him off. I hate to leave a wounded bird, but it's better than a dog off a cliff.

Hear me out: flights of ham

Hell of a play. They earned it.

What a catch
