The SRP conference hotel is closest to the Arena District (named for the hockey, baseball, & soccer stadiums clustered together to the west) But a 15 min walk north on High St delivers you into the Short North - the part of town with tons of restaurants and shops from the Hyatt to about King Ave

My son has taken fencing classes for almost 5 years. Not once has anyone, even jokingly, slapped someone across the face with their glove to challenge them to a duel. It’s disappointing.

I will be reviewing applications this admissions cycle (pending funding). This time, I'll be looking for folks interested in research within our training clinic. We have implemented ROM, and want to build on that infrastructure. Other research is possible; the primary goal is clinical research.

We are hiring a research coordinator who will assist with this multi-site project (Pitt & UNC) involving the co-design, development, and validation of a new adolescent emotional faces stimulus set. We will also test if neural responses to the stimuli uniquely predict depression, anxiety, and STBs.

I’m thrilled to share that our R21 has been funded! Over the next two years, Kiera James and I will be co-leading this grant to co-design, develop, and validate a new developmentally-tailored and ecologically-valid adolescent emotional faces stimulus set.

For the summer glamping book club, we read "Into thin air" about climbing Mt. Everest. It made me curious - any idea what the highest altitude of an MRI is? For task-based MRI, how much does altitude impact BOLD signal?

Very excited to share this registered report now in press at Clinical Psych Science! In this paper, we put a common clinical intuition in group-based treatment to the test: Are patients’ outcomes associated with the personality composition of their treatment cohort?
