"Jonas was surprised that Niermann is leaving us, but now he sees it as an opportunity to improve" 😎 Clean cut break up vibes, we're better off without him 😂

We, cycling fans & analysts, are all advocating for more safety in cycling. We are right to complain when the organisers or the UCI mess things up (again). So if they (the organisers & the jury, after a request from the riders with Vingegaard as their spokesman)

If anyone is wondering if it was all Jonas being a snowflake today😜 Not only did he say to Danish TV that plenty of riders came up to him to ask if he could do something to convince the commisaires to do something/a neutralization. Tobias Lund also called the circuit "incredibly dangerous":

A (known to be rather reckless 😆) sprinter saying these things, tells you eveything you need to know, I think 🙈 Even if he might fear for Gall too

- There was no time to talk when you are there with the others. But it's great that he (Vingegaard, ed.) was with the commissaires and took responsibility, because if all teams were to try to be in front, there would be 100 percent crashes, Lund says.

- We cross some rails eight times per lap, there were covers (manholes) everywhere, and there were cobblestones through the turns. There was everything you could ask for if you wanted to try to crash, Lund tells TV 2 Sport. ⤵️

Tiny tiny breaking news from the Danish transmission today. Michael Mørkøv (national coach) just said that he has been in contact with Jonas quite a bit, and Visma have given him completely free reign after the Tour to focus on worlds, with the proper prep and everything 😍 ⬇️

Optimally Mørkøv says, he would spend the time after the tour with recovery, then a training camp, then do two one day races in Quebec and Montreal, and then do Worlds 😱😍 All depends on what happens in the tour of course, but Jonas is really motivated he says.

Honestly, there is a tiny part of me who hopes Pogacar wins, just because I can't handle Seixas being this strong already 😆😭 Not even kidding.

How do we survive Pogacar trying for 3 GT's in a year 😭 If that's what's up. Jonas better get that Giro this year while he has his chance 🙈
