Opinion/analysis: Patriots' next practice is Friday, and will shed more light on significance of some of the absences as it relates to Sunday's game ... but at this point hard to imagine LB Robert Spillane, DT Khyiris Tonga, WR Kayshon Boutte and LG Jared Wilson having a chance.

Weekend round-up. Warm and mainly dry. Could see some showers scrape by late Saturday night - early Sunday AM, mainly right along the South Coast of MA. Enjoy! #wbz

Thought this was a great game from Khusnutdinov. Kind of a bubble guy, no set roster spot right now. Nice to have another one of those guys break through. Also Korpisalo rebounded well and battled after 4th goal. Not a good 'box score' night, but good compete.

Patriots record-book follow-up: Hunter Henry moved into 3rd place all-time for receptions by a TE (212), behind only Rob Gronkowski (521) and Ben Coates (490). His reaction?

dlvr.itBSJ Game Report: Steelers 21, Patriots 14 - New England can't survive 5 turnoversThe Patriots killed themselves with penalties and, more importantly, turnovers. They had a ridiculous five — two fumbles by Stevenson (one on the goal line), an interception (in the end zone) and fumble by Maye, and a fumble by Gibson. It's extremely hard to win a football game doing that, even against a bad Steelers team - and this team is bad.

dlvr.itBedard's Breakdown (Offense): Since Mike Vrabel wouldn't do it, here are gameballs for Drake Maye, Josh McDanielsForget about the fact that Maye took a beating all week for a subpar performance against the Raiders, let's just deal with real things. Maye played almost flawlessly, and the Patriots don't win that game without him being nearly perfect. It was, by every measure, the best game of his career. It was his second real victory as the Patriots' starting quarterback (the first was agains a crapbag Bears team when Maye played one of his worst game). It was his first divisional road victory. He gave the team a two-score lead to start the game. The defense and special teams coughed up the lead twice. Maye got the Patriots the lead back with a great play to Stevenson, and his own 6-yard touchdown run.

Snowy Owl perched atop a silo with the full moon in the background. Took this shot a few years ago but have never shared it on Bluesky. One of my favourites. #birds #birdphotography #snowyowl #wildlife
