I've weirdly managed to stumble upon two really good gay "I miss my dead boyfriend so fucking much" animes recently (Sparks of Tomorrow, Lord El-Melloi II's Case Files) and those have been great, but I'd like to watch some ladies with lives defined by prolonged grief too.

Like what happened with Mizi and Sua in Alien Stage: one girlfriend dies while the other one lives, but it's a life forever filled with constant intense yearning never to be fulfilled and their entire existence is now shaped by that enormous loss.

The Sparks of Tomorrow merch I ordered finally came in. Very happy to welcome Kihachi, Inako, and Yosuke into my home alongside a picture of shirtless Seiroku on a date with past Yosuke before he went insane and also got a better haircut.

The final chapter of The Summer Hikaru Died came out today so I can now officially declare it a perfect story from start to finish. 10/10. Now is an excellent time to go binge read a masterpiece if you haven't already.
