I agree with this, but also, regardless of monetary value, it's a display of contempt. If you're aware that people feel hurt by this dumb trend and you join in anyway, it sends the message that you don't care about them. Seems like a fair thing to get upset about.

depression's been kicking in again ever since i got back home and im having a pretty hard time getting anything at all done. however seeing that laser is starting to have effect again is a nice little mood boost

it's getting to a point where i might just fully swap back to they/them cause while i am technically fine with both, it gets a bit frustrating when the one i prefer rarely gets used.

so i thought that when people list multiple pronouns, for example; 'she/they', that either both are okay, or a preference for the one named first, which is why you might put 'they/she' instead but people tend to use 'she' for me 90% of the time despite using 'they/she'? so i may have assumed wrong?
