7️⃣ Technology and disruption: I don't have thermostat at home. Not in the way "Nest" delivers it. Modern house in Europe is probably not even for a market for such device. Maybe tech is not moving at breakneck speed but it can still eliminate need for your product/service.

3️⃣ Every product can be killed. There's no attachment, just spreadsheet. Plan accordingly 4️⃣ Hardware is hard. Think before entering this space. Still, executed well, it is great space.

1️⃣ Situation like this are reason, why my home is mostly "dumb" - building it, I avoided putting anything in the walls or hard wired. We still need "Lindy effect" for IoT/Smart home to kick-in.

2️⃣ Europe is not a single market. It is many separate markets with their differences. Think this way if you want to work in Europe. Every country has its "differences" - it can be obstacle, or it can be an advantage

What I liked from "The NVidia Way" is their CEO "sensing machine". Not many execs would work this way, as it requires to admit that "the field" might now better. Too many plays status games

Latest finding: People do actually build their world view based on meme images and videos. Never thought that simple being able to read and think will be worlds unfair advantage 🤷‍♂️ Act accordingly 🖖

Why interesting? Because it is a seed of emerging practices, that in few years will be productized, put into tooling and generally accepted as a "norm". Will it be this flow?

(...) This is working well NOW, it will probably not work in 2 weeks, or it will work twice as well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (...) Still it is interesting to observe how it is being created. Technical flow, but I think non-technical/non-dev people also can benefit from reading it.

We had computers and then applications. So software development and architecture was created. Then we had an infrastructure and need for recovery/scaling and world came up with DevOps and few other things (Looking at you K8s :) ). Now we have AIs and LLMs?

Will they replace developers? Nah, but few other things will happen. One of them, will be creation of practices and patterns around using them. It is early, but I've found yesterday this article, describing one guys "flow" around coding with LLMs.
