OPIN is headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico, a state with proud Indigenous roots. We honor and celebrate the Indigenous people whose resistance our work is built on. #indigenouspeoplesday

In their continued attack on workers, yesterday ICE shot 28 year old Wilber Rafael Garces Perez in Austin, Texas while he was driving for DoorDash. Perez, a Venezuelan immigrant, was moved from the hospital to a detention center, where he is not receiving proper medical care.

ICE shot Wilber Rafael Garces Perez, a DoorDash driver in Texas on Sunday, Sept 20th. People deserve to work without fear of government violence. @Doordash must not stay silent while federal agents target its workers. #abolishICE

ICE fatally shot Lorenzo Salgado Araujo during a Houston enforcement operation. His family says he was a hardworking father on his way to work. This is a deadly pattern at DHS: no transparency, no oversight, no accountability. We demand an independent investigation.

TPS holders aren't statistics. They're the nurse who care for your parent. The small business owner on your block. The parent at your child's school. The colleague who shows up every day. Ripping them from our communities doesn't make us safer, it makes us less whole. #ProtectTPS
