The anthem we need
I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good. Stay free

This is a war on women. Our bodies turned into battlegrounds. Our autonomy criminalized. Our pain dismissed. Our deaths acceptable collateral. If you still call this “politics,” you’re helping wage the war. They want women obedient. We are not going quietly. We’re still here. And we will fight.

This breaks my heart. What is being done to our immigrant communities is barbaric.
Remember Nory and her mom Estela? Here’s the devastating update. ICE took Estela’s blood pressure meds when they deported her. She was too afraid to leave home for refills because the same gangs that beat her in Guatemala were still waiting. She died at 45 because she didn’t have her medication.

What Congressional Democrats can do as the minority is limited, but governors can run states very differently. They can stop cooperating with the feds. Red states ban abortion, blue states provide it. Texas deploys its National Guard to the border, but blue ones refuse. #USDemocracy #Voices4Victory
Why?! This is just cruelty for sport.
THE CRUELTY… ICE snatched a high school student while he was walking his dog. Agents tied his dog to a tree and, and for extra fuckery, unclipped the collar—letting him run loose on a busy street. According to family, agents joked during his arrest, laughing about the $2,500 they just secured.
HEB is the one thing Texans on the left and the right are united on. I have been fully indoctrinated into the HEB cult, and all other grocery stores now pale in comparison. If only more companies behaved like HEB does…
Shout out to H‑E‑B for stepping up once again to help Texas in a time of need. From delivering food and water to deploying mobile kitchens. Some in our coalition have signed up to volunteer on the ground, while others are donating to support the recovery from afar.
This is the first sliver of hope I’ve felt in a long while. Thank you, Zohran Mamdani, and thank you, New York City.
🚨NEW: Zohran Mamdani has won the democratic primary for Mayor of New York, beating Andrew Cuomo and stunning the nation with this victory. REPOST to congratulate Mamdani on making history!
It’s necropolitics, and it’s disgusting.
It's called autogenocide, the goal is to get a population to kill themselves and/ or die by design. When MAGA / Trump strips people of their health care or safety nets, they aren't thinking about saving money they're thinking about how many of us they can exterminate. #3E #StopTheBillionaireBailout
This is what this country has come to.
🧵Update: In Worcester, MA, ICE dragged a mother away from her baby & family—without identifying themselves or showing a warrant. She’s now in San Antonio. The community tried to stop them. They were met with force. Read it. Share it. Never forget it tinyurl.com/No-warrant @lukeoneil47.bsky.social

This was one of the potential outcomes discussed at length in my pinned report. The Court is demanding signs of effort but not a specific result, which is a huge win for the Trump administration, as it appears to confirm its theory that El Salvador has control over anyone on its soil. This is bad.
This is the type of job the regime would like most of us to work:
🧵I worked at a garment factory in the 90s. It was called Garan. We made Garananimals clothing for children. The plant moved to Mexico in the early 2000s. 99% of the workers were women. The women who climbed up on top of tables and cut patterns out all day made $6.40/hour. The girls turning shirts
