I’m back home! I got up for 2 seconds to get water and she’s already claimed by donut pillow 🥰🤷‍♀️

I’m doing pretty well recovering. I don’t have pain, I can get up and move(like I’m 90 years old, but still!) and I’m hoping to get home Monday or Tuesday. It’s boring though. I’m so bored earlier I was just reading the wiki about that show Silk Stalkings that was always on USA after Raw.

Friendly reminder the original Beyond Good & Evil ended in a cliffhanger and BG&E 2 is a prequel. So if it ever ships it probably won’t even tie up the 20+ year story thread of that pig guy being possessed.

Multiple nurses who seem younger have asked me what I’m playing on switch 2 and when I say “the new Castlevania” they’ve never heard of Castlevania 😭👵

I like Belmont’s Curse a whole lot but it’s pretty hard to see when playing on Switch handheld. It’s so dark and enemies blend in to the background. I’m putting up with the poor readability because I’m in a hospital bed with nothing else to do but it’s a challenge lol

Hey gang…I got bottom surgery today! They told me it went well. I’ll be in the hospital for the next few days. Right now I’m tired, weak, and can’t get out of bed, but the pain meds are doing their thing and I’ve got all the Apple juice I can drink so it’s not too bad.

'ClayFighter 63⅓' released on this day in 1997. When clay sculptures of funny animals and racist caricatures collide, there's hell to pay for players on N64. The game is clearly unfinished, and a late pivot from 2D to 3D arenas leads to issues with stage geometry getting in the way of fights.

Kronos Interactive released 3 fighting games. Criticom was horrendous. Unbelievably bad. However dark Rift and cardinal syn are better. It stands to reason given enough chances they’d have made a good one. Instead they pivoted to lesbians and made Fear Effect. The “what if” makes u think though 🤔

I tried making a title screen for Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 look like the one from Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike. Adding this to the previous existing elements to further 3rd Strikeify Mortal Kombat. Thanks again to my bro @blondetanamobay.bsky.social for helping me animate this together.

Been on a weird ps1 3d fighting game kick lately and I have a hot take… Wu-Tang: Shaolin Style is actually pretty decent. It’s got ideas!
