A State Department employee shared with PBS News an image from inside the department. The image includes a piece of paper taped to a mirror with the words, "Colleagues, if you remain: RESIST FASCISM. Remember the oath you vowed to uphold."

The richest 0.1% of Americans control $22 trillion in wealth. The bottom 50% control $3.8 trillion in wealth. Read that back. Folks, this is what oligarchy looks like.

Dear Modern Humans, You thought you were so much smarter than people from the Middle Ages. But you're not. Why do you think the dark ages lasted so long? It was because of greedy, insane despots who crushed progress and dangerous thoughts. It won't end until you rise up and overthrow them all.

Danish news is reporting that many of the people wearing MAGA hats in Don Jr & Charlie Kirk’s Greenland videos were homeless rounded up from the area, including one man they found under a bridge, to come into the restaurant for a photo op & a free meal. meidasnews.com/news/busted-...

Meta is making big changes to hiring practices, sources told me and @mikeisaac.bsky.social - no more teams devoted to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion - no diversity preference for working with outside minority owned supplier businesses - no goals for hiring women and minorities

My enormous jade plant lives in my southwest window. It blooms exuberantly here in the frigid Northeast in January. It’s so big it’s hard to capture its size. It gives off a sweet very subtle scent and I love it! This plant really needs a good pruning. Maybe after bloom I’ll get around to it! 🌱

Sticking with the #BigSky #photo over #Calgary theme (see my last post) here is one I shot of a very big #Alberta sky over the city’s downtown, taken from a high point in Nose Hill Park. It was a warm autumn afternoon. Enjoy your Friday everyone. Spring is not far away! 🙂 #photography #yyc
