Free dungeon adventure module! I've just released the alpha version of The Slumbering Tombs of Arkabad and the Death of Dreams (or in short: Arkabad). Arkabad is a horror-themed dungeon module with focus on exploration. You can get it on my website, check link in bio. #osr #dnd #ttrpg

Colured version of my old-school World Eater traitor space marine. Didn’t come out exactly as I had hoped, I find red to be a hard colour to nail. Ah well, fun little drawing to do in any case. #spacemarines #warhammer #warhammer40k #oldhammer

🩸BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD🩸 FLESH FOR THE FLAYER 💀SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE💀 SOULS FOR THE SLAYER Old-school World Eater traitor space marine with chain axe. 🌏🍽️ Drawn with ink fineliners. #warhammer40k #warhammer #oldhammer #spacemarines

Paths Peculiar merchandise finally here! A lot of you guys have been asking about buying t-shirts with Paths Peculiar designs, and I'm happy to announce that I've finally made official gear available for purchase. Check my bio for a link to the web shop!

Was in the mood for colour pencils, so had a go at my previously black-and-white Death Guard insignia. Bonus throwback; my old plague marine. 🪰 🦠 💀 #warhammer #warhammer40k #spacemarines #deathguard

Throwback to Perchburrow Point. Love this little salt-stained outpost at the edge of the great sea. 🌊 #dnd #dungeonsanddragons #isometric #handdrawn #inkart

A postcard from the Greenbottle Crones in Wraithbog 🪰 🍄 🧪 #dnd #dungeonsanddragons #handdrawn #isometric #map

”Walk peculiar paths, find peculiar places” is my kind of artistic … motto, I guess? Years ago I tried to come up with something to describe the kind of feelings I want to invoke with my art, and jotted this down. Anyway, tried out my newly drawn ”skull frame” with the phrase. #handdrawn #inkart

Drawing this was an incredibly stupid idea. Doing it with a bloody fountain pen was truly moronic. #inkart #handdrawn #skulls

This weekend, I played in a MÖRK BORG tournament with ~50 players trying to reach the heart of Hell in 2,5 hours with as few deaths as possible. The grim reaper patrolled the tables, flail in hand, feeding slain PCs’ sheets to a shredder. All GMs had corpse paint. We didn’t win, but it felt like it.

Please feel free to peek into my world. Have a seat by the hearth, a mug of ale and let us spend the night sharing stories of ancient realms, fickle gods and peculiar paths. #dnd #dungeonsanddragons #ttrpg #worldbuilding #handdrawn

[work-in-progress] Starting to see the finish line on this little worldbuilding project. It’s been a fun draw! 🏰 #dnd #dungeonsanddragons #isometric #handdrawn #ttrpg

Work-in-progress. Haven’t drawn isometric in a while, and was in the mood for some worldbuilding. So here’s some kind of keep or mansion. Perhaps an inn? #isometric #drawing #handdrawn #dnd #dungeonsanddragons

A couple of sword designs and an hourglass. Damn, chains are *so hard* to draw. ⛓️⚔️⏳ #handdrawn #inkart #fantasyart #sword

Working on my upcoming dungeon adventure "Arkabad". I hope to release a digital "alpha" version quite soon. hopefully in a few weeks. #osr #dnd #ttrpg

The Bulette’s Barrel was one of the first isometric drawings I made, and while it’s a bit crude I still have a soft spot for it. These old drawings were formative for the style I have today. #isometric #cartography #dnd #dungeonsanddragons #handdrawn

”They shall not pass!” There are currently many evil men around that needs to go back to the shadow. Or rather get dragged out and into the light. #handdrawn #fantasyart #lotr

Work-in-progress Glamdring line art. ⚔️ #inkart #handdrawn #lotr #fantasyart

A collection of doodles. Always keep a sketchbook close for those mini-breaks. #handdrawn #inkart #fantasy #weapons #fantasyart

So I’m going to do the layout for Free League’s take on Trudvang. Which is extra fun since that was the first TTRPG I laid out back in 2000.

A weathered print of my ”By the docks” isometric map 📜 #dnd #dungeonsanddragons #handdrawn #map #cartography

Some kind of symbol/insigna that I might use in my campaign world. Pretty happy with the linework on this piece. ⚔️ #dnd #dungeonsanddragons #ttrpg #handdrawn #inkart

I tend to mainly draw my own favorite space marine chapters (hence a lot of Ultramarines), but here’s something for the Blood Angels🩸fans out there! #warhammer #warhammer40k #spacemarines #handdrawn #inkart

A look at the result from today’s drawing session. From top to bottom: 1. Imperialis 2. Goodwyn pattern boltgun 3. Reliquary 4. Crux Terminatus 5. Mark III ”Iron” pattern power armour helmet. #warhammer #warhammer40k #spacemarines #handdrawn #inkart

Oh shit, it's dungeon-urchin time!

A quick, dirty and free tutorial! How to draw a Space Marine mark VII helmet in 9 simple steps. Read the whole thing on my website (link in bio). #warhammer #warhammer40k #spacemarines #handdrawn #tutorial

I’m utterly useless at drawing human proportions and faces, luckily I quite enjoy drawing old-school space marines where such skills aren’t really required 😅 #warhammer #warhammer40k #oldhammer #handdrawn #inkart

No, I don’t know what to write in the ribbon! In any case, I’m going to go ahead and call the hand-drawn part of this piece done for now 🙂 #handdrawn #inkart #dnd #dungeonsanddragons #ttrpg

Work-in-progress, just started drawing a fighter in heavy armor with my favorite helmet design - the sallet. 🏰 #handdrawn #inkart #dungeonsanddragons #dnd #ttrpg

”Do you have a moment to talk about the wondrous gifts of grandfather Nurgle?” Work-in-progress on some Death Guard heraldry. 🪰💀🦠 #warhammer #warhammer40000 #deathguard #handdrawn #inkart

So I made a frame. Now to decide what to put in it. #inkart #handdrawn #stipling

Once again, for Your pleasure and education: 7 WAYS TO GET RID OF GEN AI ENTHUSIASTS!

Oh, how nice 🥹 Currently re-reading Horus Rising by Dan Abnett. I love this book so much. #warhammer40k

Don’t pay me any attention, I’m just being silly now. 🔪 #handdrawn #inkart

The Black Tomb of the Wight Knight. One of my old top-down maps (I rarely draw this perspective nowadays). ☠️ #dnd #dungeonanddragons #ttrpg #handdrawn #cartography

The Hillshade Manor. One of my favorite aspects of old-school D&D is the idea of an actual end game where powerful player characters are expected to use the accumulated wealth of dungeon crawling loot to build a stronghold. It’s fun and provides a distinct goal for the game and campaign.

Such a pretty flower 🌺😍 As a DM, do you consider plantlife in your worldbuilding? #dnd #dungeonsanddragons #ttrpg #handdrawn #inkart

Another trad tattoo style arch and stairs. This was a much smaller and faster drawing than the previous one, but I like this one better. Still more practice needed to nail it, though. #inkart #handdrawn #tattoo #tradtattoo

Exploring old-scool americana tattoo aesthetics, and the mystery stairs is one of my favorite motifs. This was a first try, but I certainly need some more practice.

You’re going on an adventure. What’s the most important piece of gear you bring? 🏔️🏕️🗡️ #dnd #dungeonsanddragons #adventure #handdrawn #gear #ttrpg

Someone on Reddit asked about what to get as a present for her boyfriend who has started drawing maps, and I listed some of the stuff that are important to me. Perhaps it could be useful for you guys as well.

Have a look at this really cool tutorial on how to create my ”Leap of Faith” dungeon trap as physical dungeon terrain 🔥 Love this! youtu.be/U1HukgL2Jv8?...

Here's what I've been working on the past month (typography, layout, and pre-press). As well as the twin book for the 5E version, of course.

A sword-shaped dungeon room containing a … well, a sword. #dnd #dungeonanddragons #ttrpg #isometric #handdrawn

Instagram ai flagged and took down my Malum Caedo illustration for depicting ”self harm and/or eating disorder” 🤨🤔

The Nightfall Lodge – an inn deep in the woods, far from civilization. It’s a strange place, this twilight tavern. A candlelight cantina that seems to exist in a perpetual state of evenfall. #dnd #ttrpg #handdrawn

Throwback to the Far Oasis inn, the cozy little waystation by the Opal Trail. #dnd #ttrpg

I’m not very good at drawing skulls 💀, but that’s why we practice, right? #skull #handdrawn #inkart

One of my older illustrations - the gate to Dol Sceptar - the tower-grave stronghold of the death knight sect. ☠️ #dnd #dungeonsanddragons #ttrpg #handdrawn #isometric

Currently on vacation, so not drawing at the moment. Here’s a throwback to the Dunkelmoor Tower. #dnd #dungeonsanddragons #ttrpg #handdrawn #isometric
