Our country is full of talent that isn't leaving anytime soon - as our member Husayn explains. We’re millionaires because Britain invested in us. Tax us fairly so the next generation gets the same chance.

This winter, bills are going to be higher than they were at the peak of the Russia/Ukraine crisis. We must all be protected from this. COLA has coordinated a letter, telling the Chancellor and @miattafahnbulleh.bsky.social that universal support is needed. www.theguardian.com/money/2026/o...

"Millionaires and billionaires aren't paying their fair share. I'm one of them and I'm calling it out. A nurse doesn't get to decide if she pays her taxes, why do millionaires and billionaires get to decide what tax rate they're gonna pay?" PMUK's Kristina has a message for the PM #TaxTheSuperRich

"What he needs is lots of cash and millionaires and billionaires have loads of it." Our member Kristina Johansson had an important question for the Prime Minister ahead of his live Q&A on LBC...will he tax our wealth?

London: a city of extremes with some of the most expensive properties in the world, while one in five Londoners live in poverty. But what do Londoners think of extreme wealth and how it affects their lives?

Sunil Kapur, Patriotic Millionaires UK member and maths tutor, has lived in East London all his life. As part of our community conversations series, he took a suitcase of poker chips to a pub in Wanstead to ask his neighbours how much they think is too much. Watch to find out what they thought.

Peers are set to pick up the baton on the long-running campaign to cap political donations. Julia made the case for action on Big Money in politics: a cap has to apply to all individuals, so our politics can serve the British people, not individual mega donors.

What is too much money? That's something we don't talk about enough as a country where the wealth divide is spiralling out of control. So we headed to Poole - a town split between the super-rich and everyone else - to talk about it, and how it affects everything from jobs to house prices.

We're touring the country to hear from residents in four areas where the divide between the super-rich and ordinary people is especially stark. PMUK's Julia Davies headed to Poole to chat to the community about how their lives are being affected and where we draw the line on extreme wealth.

What am I missing here? If we have a strong economy, surely we can risk loading a bit more tax on the very wealthy. If not now , when? @patmillsuk.bsky.social

FINANCIAL TIMES: Starmer allies warn John Healey not to squander a “strong” economic inheritance as Andy Burnham signals plans for higher taxes on wealth and business to fund increased spending.

A wealth tax is common sense, not rocket science. Of course people - including millionaires like us - overwhelmingly support it. £24bn a year for our country could be raised with a tiny 2% tax on wealth over £10m. It's time to #TaxTheSuperRich
