Stewarding fungal diagnostics! The story of Ohio State limiting fungal diagnostics and removing fungitell, serum galactomannan (SG), and fungal blood cultures -SG: positivity was 2% at baseline. Positive test only changed 14% of cases. Of the ones who underwent a BAL galact and all ➕ #IDWeek2026

The CDC has just issued a Travel Health Notice specifically related to polio popping up in about 30 countries. They recommend making sure you’re up to date on your vaccinations, and if you are traveling to one of the countries in red, you should consider a booster. wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/notic...
