The Heritage Foundation adviser who recruited 12 bishops to pray over Trump in the Oval Office claimed a Ph.D. from an Italian university that doesn’t grant doctorates. His listed bachelor’s school is a high school. A Vatican official called the meeting an insult to Pope Leo XIV.

Visitors to the US are on track to drop by almost two million year-on-year. “We’re the only major country in the world losing visitation,” the head of the US Travel Association said. “It’s mind-boggling.” www.semafor.com/article/09/2...

"Somewhere along the way, the left decided that ordinary human concerns, like whether the streets feel safe and clean, whether government actually works, whether taxpayer money is spent without waste, meant you were hiding Ayn Rand novels in your attic." Some truth in that zinger.

The tragedies of 9/11 extend far beyond that terrible day, with the US bungling in Afghanistan and erecting a new domestic theatre of security, then culminating with the Saudi funders of the event climbing into bed with the Trumps. We've become numb to it.

On his first day back in office, Trump rescinded Biden's ethics pledge banning executive branch appointees from lobbying their former agencies for 2 years. Now multiple ex-Trump officials are lobbying their former offices on behalf of Big Oil, crypto, and private equity. "Drain the swamp."

President Trump's retail store is now selling $85 hoodies with Trump's face on Mount Rushmore. Trump pledged not to profit off the presidency. In 2025, Trump Store dot com paid him $8.4 million.

There were two entities: America 250, a bipartisan organization chartered by Congress, and Freedom 250, a Trump-backed group. Companies intending to donate to America250 were supplied routing and account numbers that directed their funds to Freedom 250. wapo.st/4fe4Whs

Folks are laughing about the reflecting pool fiasco, but as Trump sets up ordinary citizens to take the fall for another one of his corrupt screw-ups, he's making an extraordonarily evil decision.

Today is the last day to comment on the National Park Service website about what you think of Donald Trump's proposed Arch. Please take the time to share your opinion with them, and maybe repost so other people will comment too. The more the better. parkplanning.nps.gov/document.cfm...

I don't care who you are—we should ALL be able to agree that detaining babies and kids is WRONG. There's no other way to put it.   ICE is out of control, and every Republican who just voted to cut them ANOTHER blank check is complicit in their inhumane actions.

ms.nowICE has detained over 500 babies and toddlers under TrumpOn an average day, ICE has 25 children aged 3 or younger in custody, according to joint research by MS NOW and The Marshall Project.

Hi! I'm a farmer! This NYT article is sweet, saccharine bullshit. Farmers knew Trump was going to hurt our business. Because he already did a trade war in his 1st term. I even did a video on why so many farmers support Trump, WHILE knowing he'd hurt our farms.

Brad voted Trump bc he promised to be “the most pro-farmer president you’ve ever had.” Instead, tariffs cut Brad’s export market; the war surged fertilizer prices by 70%. So Brad arranged his family’s final sale. “Farm is going dry,” said the ad. “Every cow must go.” www.nytimes.com/2026/05/03/u...

Important context here: The men were not pardoned. They filed suit to have their convictions thrown out. The DOJ would normally oppose this, as the original prosecutors. But to do that… they’d have to assert the men committed sedition… on behalf of Donald Trump. So instead, they just fold.

The Justice Department on Tuesday took the opening step in erasing the guilty verdicts of the last few Jan. 6 rioters who were not granted total clemency by President Trump, moving to throw out the convictions of 12 members of the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers militia.
