Pretty clear Tom Brady either hasn't watched much 49ers tape or he doesn't care for Purdy's game. Said he's "playing on time and taking what the defense gives him," which is not what Purdy has been doing. He's been extending plays and making high degree-of-difficulty throws.

That was one of the best drives of Brock Purdy's career. 11 plays, 99 yards, and a touchdown. Two different scrambles for a first down. Multiple scrambles to extend + find a receiver downfield, including for the touchdown. Really impressive.
