Why would anyone be shocked that the psychopath who owns Instagram and is in Trump's back pocket turned off the "No Kings" account during protests? Get off Instagram. Get off Facebook. Get off Twitter. If you're still on those platforms, you're part of the problem.

Saw the incredible Neko Case in concert last night. Her music defies categorization. Such and incredible talent. And, for a bonus, she had a no mobile phones policy, which made the entire event even more enjoyable.

AI policy should not be written by a handful of billionaires who sat in the front row of Donald Trump’s inauguration and who make financial contributions to him. Period.

Has there ever been a weaker political campaign issue than Mike Minogue’s “gas tax holiday”? His boy Trump’s disastrous war has caused the spike in prices.

Alito and Thomas are corrupt and shameful. They are the legacy of Poppy and Dubya, who were more polite versions of Trump.

I lost my job, my kids have measles, I can’t afford gas, I can’t breathe, and I can’t eat lettuce or strawberries without getting explosive diarrhea. But at least now schools are forbidden from celebrating Black History Month.

Fox made a legal filing after January 6 saying they were an entertainment channel, not a news channel. Yet, millions of bigoted Americans continue to watch it for “news”.

The U.S. House passed a bill to make daylight saving time permanent, but it faces a fight in the Senate before it can become law. Not everyone is cheering for more evening sun, though. Revisit @erinkeane.bsky.social's 2022 story on why standard time is the better deal.

Iran humiliated Trump, Hegseth and the United States, who elected a criminal, con man and moron twice.

The Atlantic@theatlantic.com

Iran got the United States to sign a document that even Americans described as degrading, mortifying, a total capitulation, Graeme Wood argues: “Watching Trump and his aides sell the deal is in some ways as humiliating as the deal itself.”

it is important to emphasize that this was *the point*. this was *intentional*. elon musk is a vicious white supremacist who thinks poor african children ought to die, so that the world can be whiter

Still feel like "Musk and his crew of incels destroyed a bunch of stuff they didn't understand and thereby hastened the deaths of millions of children" did not get the public attention it warranted.

Same. I got involved in IT because I thought its leaders were going to be different. Turns out, they are worse than the robber barons.

A decade ago, I wrote that tech tycoons were on a path towards being considered the new robber barons. Now that 750k tech workers have been laid off, it was inevitable things would get rough. medium.com/humane-tech/... When it hits a million, they’re gonna need Pinkertons whenever they go outside.

Didn’t really enjoy my college years at Notre Dame, but the fact the attorney arguing Trump’s case against birthright citizenship is an ND grad disgusts me.
