We've created an entirely new DX paradigm just by throwing a Promise! We threw a promise and created suspense & error boundaries!

There are many days I wake up and can't believe how quickly Backpack has grown in under 2 years. Mobile app usage is on a rocket ship.

Backpack just opened up withdrawals for all former FTX EU customers. This is a huge step and I'm super proud of the team for getting us here! If you're a former FTX EU customer, check out eu.backpack.exchange

It's 2025. It's time for an official Youtube menu bar app!!

Safari vs. Brave? I loved Arc. Safari kinda sucks. Chrome is incredible. Considering Brave.

Every version of Cursor seems to get worse and worse. I'm back to manually coding.

Can I shit post here?

Is it cool to say Suspensey

Github should hire whoever made grep.app and make them the head of search

I'm quickly learning a status symbol of the React community is not using `useEffect`

Xcode should not rebuild my app just because it crashed. What is going on lol

I didn't realize Gemini *inserts* and doesn't *replace* emails so I just sent a company 3 slightly differently worded emails lol

Jay is legendary. Who else can make pure javascript faster than some combination of native + JS?

Today I needed 04 mini to fix an eslint issue. It fixed it by disabling it. I have to give it some credit. That's very human-like behavior 😆

Do you know the difference between useCallback and useMemo? - useMemo returns the cached result - useCallback returns the cached function There you go

Several months of extremely hard work went into the next Backpack release Trade peeps, borrow/lend or make the infamous basis trade all on mobile Getting that webview gesture right was half the battle 🤣

Needed to take a break from gambling all day so I hit up Bingo

Fetching balances for withdrawals can be expensive they're coming from an on-chain request. I started prefetching the requests ahead of time and things just feel much smoother 😍 What do you think?

The blue sky app is so well built and well thought out I love all the cute button interactions that feel delightful

If you’re from Chicago say hi

Exchange withdrawals should be so much faster in the next release. I rewrote it all to offload data until it’s necessary

Days like these I just know I need bigger hoop earrings to match the energy I’m bringing

After spending a week in Krakow I realize react native is the future

Is this a safe space to share how I feel about the Apple Magic Mouse?

Relay GraphQL’s usage is incredible. Didn’t expect it to be this high!

Where are my JavaScript people?

Are you using your same voice as you do on Twitter? Have you made any changes?

After 55M visits over 3 days it’s time to get back to shipping 🚀 Backpack mobile app here we come! I decided to use relay GraphQL over trpc and rest. Relay may be more complicated, but it’s compiler optimizing queries/requests for me is impressive

We had our initial NFT mint last night. Some initial 24h metrics: - 52M requests world wide - 574GB of bandwidth - 132k visits Public takes place today. Scaling up the infra 😅

If you like AI and live in Chicago please say hello
