I saw the remake of House on Haunted Hill (1999 one) far too young. At 10 or 11. I didn't want to go to sleep because I needed to see the end to hope for a happy ending. Still frightened the fuck outta me. I remember my mom getting up in the middle of the night and asking why I was still awake.
