🧑‍💼🏢 Single sign-on Phare is getting enterprise ready, you can now let your members log in with the identity provider of your organization through OpenID Connect.

Single sign-on is available on the Scale plan, and works with Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, Auth0, JumpCloud, OneLogin, Keycloak, authentik, ZITADEL and any other OpenID Connect identity provider.

🕜 Status page timezone You can now choose the timezone of each status page in its settings. Status pages used to split the availability history into days using UTC, while some dates were displayed in the visitor's timezone, which could get confusing.

The selected timezone is now used consistently on RSS / ATOM / Slack feed as well as the status page homepage and incident report page.

🟢🟡 Granular incidents on status pages The status page availability history has been improved to show incidents more accurately. Instead of coloring the entire daily bar as soon as an incident occurs, each day now displays a marker for its incidents, colored by their impact level.

A short degraded performance episode no longer looks like a full day of outage, giving your users a more faithful picture of your service reliability.

🏷️ Tags are now available in Phare You can now label monitors, incidents and status pages with free-form tags like environment:production, server:main or priority-1.

Data-table on the dashboard now have a Tags filter where you can combine several tags. Tags also work as API filters and are included in webhook payloads, allowing you to build more complex workflows.

🏓 Uptime monitoring with ICMP ping You can now create ICMP monitors to track the availability and latency of your servers, network devices, and infrastructure using ICMP echo requests (ping).

Unlike HTTP(S) and TCP checks that require open ports or running services, ICMP checks allow you to monitor host reachability and network health with minimal overhead.

⚛️ Quantile-based monitoring charts Monitor response time charts now display quantile-based data with P75, P90, and P99 percentiles.

While averages can obscure transient latency spikes, quantile distributions give you an accurate view of latency and real-world performance, making it easier to pinpoint intermittent slowdowns and performance degradation.

👨‍🎨 Redesigned billing and monitor quota estimation The Phare billing page has been updated with a new design to clarify current usage and forecast data across your monthly quotas at a glance.

Additionally, the create and edit monitor pages now show a clear estimate of the monitoring events quota required by your monitor configuration. This makes it easy to understand the quota impact of your check interval and selected regions before saving changes.

Thanks to @quine.de you can now declare Phare resources as NixOS config. Check out the documentation 👉 docs.phare.io/integrations...

🚧 Scheduled Maintenance Windows One of the most requested feature of the past few months is finally here, whether you're upgrading databases, shipping breaking API changes, or rebooting a server, keeping your users in the loop before and during downtime makes all the difference.

- Automatically display upcoming notices and live banners on your status pages. - Pause health checks completely to prevent false alarms during heavy work. - Or mute alert notifications while still gathering background telemetry. - Resume monitors automatically the moment maintenance wraps up.

🧹 Tidy up your status page with component groups You can now organize your monitors into customizable, collapsible groups to your status page visitors a clearer view of system health. Drag and drop monitors into groups, reorder sections, and collapse groups directly on your public status pages.

🫣 Keep your uptime data private You can now restrict access to your status page using up three access controls, available now to all Scale plan customers. 🧵

Access token: Append a secret `token` query parameter to any status page URL to grant access, great for programmatic access. Works on the main page, feeds, and badge endpoints. When a browser visits with a valid token, a session cookie is set for 1 hour, so subsequent visits don't need the token.

Access password: Visitors are prompted with a login screen before they can view the page. Simple and effective for internal pages shared with team members or customers.

🫣 Keep your uptime data private You can now restrict access to your status page using up three access controls, available now to all Scale plan customers. 🧵

IP allowlist: Grant automatic access to specific IP addresses or CIDR ranges. Requests from listed addresses bypass all other checks, making it the most seamless option for office networks or VPN exit nodes.

Happy to announce that Phare is now part of @infobip.bsky.social Startup Tribe. Leveraging their product stack and global network we'll allow taking Phare's alerting capabilities to the next level with worldwide SMS & voice coverage, ensuring you know immediately when your infrastructure breaks.

Phare's incident AI summary and post-mortems are now powered by Mistral Small 4 😸

This model offer better performance than Magistral Small, with better performance, lower costs, optimized underlying architecture and a jump from 24B to 119B tokens from the Magistral Small model that was previously used.

And if you're tired of AI it can be disabled for each project in a single click.

Phare just hit 500 hosted status pages. 🎉 This is a big milestone and the craziest part is that this number will more than double before the end of the year. Cheers to everyone using it, on to the next 500.

Phare status pages just got a big upgrade 🌗 You can now fully customise the design with flexible colours, layout styles, and... dark mode is finally here! There’s also a full uptime and incident history view, plus a new RSS feed for pushing updates straight into Slack.

You can now pull Phare monitor data into SquaredUp and build dashboards alongside the rest of your stack. This makes it easier to share monitor status, track health, and keep everything in one place. Thanks to the @squaredup.com team for the collaboration. 👉️ Check it out here: buff.ly/pEjs8N8

The long-awaited first-party Phare Terraform provider is now in beta and ready for you to automate your monitoring setup with infrastructure as code.

No more clicking around on the dashboard, grab an API key and write code (or ask an AI to do it for you). Define HTTP(s) and TCP monitoring checks, alert rules, and status pages as code, just like you do with the rest of your infra.

🤖 Phare got a lot more programmable! You can now create organization-scoped API keys that give you access to all the projects in your org, perfect for small teams, or infrastructure provisioning (is that a spoiler?).

There's also 10 new API endpoints to play with! It's finally possible to manage projects and incidents programmatically, which allows for all kind of automatic / agentic workflows.

⏱️ More control over incident timing in Phare Incidents can now be created with precise start and end times, adjusted if detection was late, or created for events that already happened. You can also choose what kind of update is published at creation time, with full flexibility to add more later.

Phare was selected to join @bunny.net Hopstart program and placed 1st 🥇 in the first cohort ! It’s great validation from a European company that builds serious infrastructure and supports people shipping genuine products. 👉 phare.io/blog/phare-j...

🏗️ Webhooks in Phare just got a serious upgrade Payload schemas now support loops and clearer templating, all default schemas were revamped to expose more data out of the box.

The JSON editor also got a big boost with highlights on valid placeholders and loops, warns on invalid tokens, suggested entities as you type, and a full screen mode.

Happy to partner with @ilert.bsky.social on this native integration to provide on-call teams with AI-first incident management. Even better, this is a partnership between two European companies, strengthening the observability stack in Europe 🇪🇺 Big thanks to the ilert team for the collaboration 🙌

💰 Curious about Phare’s business metrics? An open stats dashboard is now live, showing real numbers: user registrations, monitors created, alert volume, revenue, costs, all in the open. Check it out here : phare.io/open

Earlier this month, Phare migrated its billing from Stripe to Paddle for proper VAT handling, and fewer US dependencies. The billing experience was also improved, with better cost forecasting and clearer payment flows. Same price, same features. A solid start to 2026 🥳

🇫🇷🥖 Phare launches: Le Uptime Monitoring A brand-new monitoring region is now live in France, humming with that signature hon hon hon server noise. Expect uptime as fast as a TGV*, incidents that dramatically shout “SACRE BLEU”, and a special Parisian luxury experience…

🎨 New in Phare: Refreshed Dashboard Design The dashboard got a proper with full-width layouts, a search box to quickly find that monitor hiding on page 3, and filters to narrow things down to exactly what you need. A small UI refresh, but a massive quality-of-life boost 👌
