Carol

Hello! I'm an Instagram refugee! I post cute and creepy ceramics that I make with my eldest kid @emikomay.bsky.social I also post about what matters to me including Trans rights, a Free Palestine and CATS.

Updated my website with the latest pottery by me and @phasesoftheyoon.bsky.social ❤️🖤

Here's the video by @emikomay.bsky.social about the porcelain skull I made and how they painted it into something really amazing.

@emikomay.bsky.social is doing something amazing with this porcelain skull

We had our show opening @goodearthpottery.bsky.social ! Here are some pics from a lovely day! The work is for sale online at www.goodearthpots.com ! #pottery #ceramics #scientificillustration #art #red #porcelain #handmade #handpainted #artists #potter #blood #teeth #eyes #brains

These fish cups will be in our show opening in person and online Saturday at @goodearthpottery.bsky.social . @emikomay.bsky.social did the drawings based on an 1850s German how-to book for housewives. These women did some serious labor. #fish #illustration #mug #mugs #art #prep #pottery #ceramics

One of the pieces in my and @emikomay.bsky.social 's show @goodearthpottery.bsky.social ! And it's not just porcelain body parts! There are also mugs! 😊 Opens in person and online this Saturday ❤️ #jaw #ceramics #pottery #pottersofbluesky #sculpture #sculptorsofbluesky #teeth #art #weird #creepy

I drew a simple frog's head on plain white plate and @emikomay.bsky.social turned it into this. #frogs #animalart #pottery #pottersofbluesky #paintersofbluesky #frogsofbluesky #ceramics

Switching from Instagram to Bluesky feels like giving up sugar - in both the good way - like this feels way more wholesome and healthy - but also in a bad way like - WHERE IS THE SUGAR #instagramrefugee

It looks like a crime scene but it's actually a porcelain skull I made about to get bisque fired in the tiny kiln by my pal @atteberryclayworks.bsky.social Fingers crossed! #pleasedontblowup #creepy #skull #weird #pottery #artofbluesky #pottersofbluesky #sculptureofbluesky #ceramics #sculpture

I just threw a regular old mug and my partner in crime @emikomay.bsky.social painted this elaborate design on it, inspired by Japanese textiles. This one of a kind beauty is available online @goodearthpottery.bsky.social #pottery #pottersofbluesky #ceramics #mugsofbluesky #mugs #artistsofbluesky

This screenshot tells you everything about the Democratic party

Making sure you see this thread here: I feel like a lot of you don’t know why this is happening and are simply marveling that it is happening at all. So allow me to tell you: republicans invest a shit ton of time and money into the political organizing of disabled people because disabled people

This astronaut cat has a spaceship and a friend inside the spaceship. But floating around out there he still looks concerned. And I think that's pretty reasonable. Now available @goodearthpottery.bsky.social #cat #catart #mug #handmade #handmadepottery #pottery #ilovecats #catdrawing #catlover

We keep making. In the midst of uncertainty and performative cruelty, we keep making. Making is an act of hope. And hope is what will sustain us. This cat teapot by me and @emikomay.bsky.social will arrive @goodearthpottery.bsky.social on Friday. #cats #pottery #ilovecats #handmade #teapot

wip - my take on an anatomy illustration from Sobotta Atlas, originally published 1909

First time making in the new studio space and it really felt like play. This groggy clay just screams out "let's make whatever we feel like!" Unlike porcelain which has a tendency to shout "perfect me!" @starflowerstudios.bsky.social #sculpture #ceramics #pottery #handmade #claysculpture #hand

I am told by scores of sources that members’ of Congress phone lines are jammed. So why was there just a dozen-some Democrats standing with workers against an illegal takeover of an entire agency? Where is the rest of the party? Namely: where is Chuck Schumer & Hakeem Jeffries?

Sometimes the cats I draw have knives. Because they have had just about enough. I mean because they have had just about enough cake but will cut one more slice. Background painted by my partner in crime @emikomay.bsky.social #mug #handmade #pottery #cat #ceramics

(i'm a beginner too!)

My goal is to ever more fully explore the limits of my weirdness. In that spirit, I made this porcelain brain. My collaborator and first born @emikomay.bsky.social painted it with Japanese textile inspired patterns. #sculpture #ceramics #porcelain #handmade #brain #weird #handmade #pottery #brains

I like to draw cats living like regular people, nothing fancy, just getting a little tipsy on a Tuesday, looking out of your house that's a bit run down, worrying about bills, sneaking a ciggy. And being a Viking, I guess. #cats #pottery #porcelain #mugs #handmade #ilovecats

Joining a new app feels like starting a new relationship - tentative excitement that THIS time it will be different, mixed with creeping dread that all the fish in the sea are alike. #handmade #pottery #cats

There will be pictures of Grahm.
