Update: I wonder if my 24 hour tonkotsu broth will finish before the chiggen comes back. Also, I don’t see her feathers anywhere which means an animal probably didn’t grab her. And she’s disappeared before, just not this long.

Hi it’s Gary and I’m going down a Simple rabbit hole rn. 11.18.96 - treys tone is absolutely fantastic. Plus the bell jam thing with all members using that sound and Michael Jordan Gordon uses his foot bell. Trey wraps it all back up at the end with that grungy tone. But you want more tone?

Anyway 2/16 it’s nice to not hear them step all over each other. The Bad Lieutenant’s tone in 96 is other worldly over 97 but, it’s nice the boys got back to Europe to find their sound. Oh and Trey throws a bone to Page and lets him do that raindrop thing on his piano.

If you’re still with me, if you got ADD try the MPP show from 2014. That set 2 is a stupid ass tweezerfest too, but there was a moment the band was a half step above simple and Trey did the nod and they shifted down a fret and fired down some of the heaviest simple notes ever. Btw Trey crushed bebop

Let’s now discuss the Halloween 94 simple. Talk about out of the gate fast tempo. Trey circling around Ol Gordo making sure he was not slowing down his boy Fish, which is sort of the reason they named the band phish, but story for another day. They end the song kinda midz. Wouldn’t recommend

Onto 2/16/97 Trey is wearing Pepe le pew shirt, and if any of you newbs were at msg you coulda seen Big Red in that shirt. I think it was 94 which was the stupid bomb factory tweezfest. You can also find Ari Fink saying that the SiriusXM Philly show was the best tweezer since the bomb factory.

Let’s go the Went Simple. T-Money starts off with a slow tempo and his tone is like New York sewer grungy thick. Now all members fire off their lil solo during the sax, symbols, sky scrapers, but listen to Trey play bebop…man is on one. Then he drops this phat tone to let ya all know who runs this

I can’t make this up….a kid in the town over got pulled over for suspected DUI and then they called the mother to pick him up and she blew a .18 and was arrested for DUI.

Saw some kids building a fort with foam blocks on the way out of local outdoor market place and I said “building a fort won’t protect you from the government” A kid said “ha ha very funny “ I said “it won’t be funny when the government comes for you” Probably a reason why I shouldn’t have kids
