Quartet v1.4 is nearly wrapped up! We've been spending a long time really making this new Nightmare mode fun and challenging. It's a new difficult that unlocks in a NG+ playthrough. Hoping to have that out on Steam by end of month and consoles to follow soon!

Quartet Set for Switch in May

rpgamer.comQuartet Set for Switch in MaySomething Classic Games revealed that the Nintendo Switch version of turn-based RPG Quartet is currently planned to launch on May 12, 2026. The game -- which originally released for PC, Mac, and Linux in 2025 -- will be available on the console for $19.99. PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions are planned to follow at a later date. Quartet features four initial stories — including a series of train robberies leading to a government conspiracy and a mysterious deck of cards that gives a young girl a vision of another world — that come together. The game’s combat sees up to eight heroes fighting in the party; four are active at any time, with the others in reserve slots regenerating their Action Points to be ready to be swapped in. While doing our final tests on a retail Switch we've been running into some endgame crashes. We don't want to release a product that has these. Nintendo can take a minute to approve patches too. Once fixed and approved, we'll send to our KS backers and press. Release date is TBD
