I love that the catapult mode's lamps are cannon balls and there is a little guy loading them. The detail in every inch is what cements Medieval Madness as a real masterpiece. I remember having a poster of the backglass art and there was seemingly no end to finding little details and easter eggs.

The first release of Animal Crossing in America. I remember preordering and picking it up on launch day at the now closed GameStop on Irvine blvd. K.K. Slider playing a song on Saturday nights was the first “Live Event” I had seen in a game and felt really special at the time. #RandomGameSaturday

Good luck ever finding another Double Fine.

BREAKING: Several Xbox studios, including Compulsion, Ninja Theory and Double Fine, are negotiating with Xbox as they try to avoid closure. Some or all could spin off. Lots still in flux as many studios remain unsure about what's happening. Here's the latest: www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

Big changes are happening for our growing spectacled owlet! 🦉✨ The baby owl continues to thrive as its fluffy white down slowly gives way to darker feathers, including the beginnings of the species’ signature “spectacles,” the markings around the eyes that look like a pair of glasses.

Ok after much work this game no longer crashes immediately when starting Level 1 on Android! Please check it out its fun to drop balls and hit the target. #GooglePlay #AndroidGames

Yeah subtitles are great, but have you ever changed the language setting to English[Audio Description]? I love it, you get more detail into the creators intent, like what they call characters before you learn their name.

They complied a bunch of old comics about Las Vegas and gambling for this quarter’s MAD, for what I assume is commentary on prediction markets and sports betting getting out of control. #MadMagazine

Just watched Wicked part 2. It was ok. I liked the part about how the plan to expose the Wizards lies was futile. Reminds me of when I took Philosophy 101: Intro To Logic in college and the first thing the prof said is “logic isn’t going to change anyone’s mind” and I was so upset.

BREAKING: 49 Senate Republicans just VOTED DOWN our simple bill to pay TSA workers. Republicans have now blocked TSA pay SEVEN times. It’s a slap in the face to the men and women who have been working without a paycheck for weeks.

In #NBA I don’t think the players should be allowed to talk to the refs like they do…? What is there to say? They saw what they saw.

A purchase needs to be made. Anxiety slowly builds as more tabs open with many reviews of different versions of needed thing. Spreadsheets are created, years of reddit posts scoured, yet there is no clear winner. I ask the boy, "Just pick the first one on amazon." ahh, the kid saves me from myself.

Finally saw Apocalypse Now. I feel the type of person who quoted "I love the smell of Napalm in the morning" back in the day couldn't actually appreciate this movie? Also Martin Sheen rules, and I was surprised after watching the credits that Laurence Fishburne was Mr Clean! They were so young.

🧘🏻‍♂️I’m listening to the audiobook of Siddhartha’s Brain. I like how it makes meditation sound so easy, and the benefits so great. Simply focus on the breath or a mantra and when thoughts come acknowledge them and then move on, resulting in lower blood pressure and so on. What’s the problem?

This reminded me that Kristen Bell was in the first 3 Assassin's Creeds as a key character for the Desmond story, and the writers sloppily ended it. Not only that, but the director later admitted that they killed off Bell's character without telling her because she wanted royalties after three games

I took the light rail into downtown for an indie devs meetup. When walking there I was regretting my choice at first because it was cold and there were sketchy people on the train, but I met so many cool and diverse people, it was totally worth it. I am inspired to work on my games!

On the way I was thinking about how to ask people how they deal with motivation to work on their indie game projects outside of work, thinking I am alone in this problem, but at least three people I met brought up the exact same issue they are dealing with themselves.

"However, we found that this encouraged and rewarded a narrow set of attention-grabbing content and didn't allow the focus to be as much on a broader pool of thoughtful, well-considered creative content." Steam quietly solving societal problems on their own little social network.
